A method for producing ethanol and coproducing methanol on a catalyst in a reactor using a co-feed of a synthesis gas and acetate as a reaction raw material comprising passing a raw material gas containing an acetate and a synthesis gas through a reactor loaded with a catalyst to produce ethanol and coproduce methanol under conditions of a reaction temperature of 150-350° C., a reaction pressure of 0.1-20.0 MPa, a reaction volume hourly space velocity of 100-45000 mlg−1h−1, and an acetate weight hourly space velocity of 0.01-5.0 h−1; and the active components of the catalyst are copper and optionally zinc and/or aluminum, which greatly facilitates the conversion of carbon monoxide to methanol, while an extremely high activity of acetate hydrogenation is maintained.

The present invention provides a method for preparing methyl acetate, in which a feed gas containing an organic amine, dimethyl ether, carbon monoxide and optional hydrogen gas goes through a reactor loaded with a H-type mordenite catalyst, to produce methyl acetate; wherein said H-type mordenite catalyst is a H-type mordenite catalyst with adsorption of an organic amine. The method in the present invention improves the catalyst stability and prolongs the catalyst life, by using the H-type mordenite catalyst with adsorption of an organic amine as the catalyst and adding the organic amine in the feed gas to replenish the organic amine desorbed from the catalyst during the reaction.

The present invention relates to catalysts and methods for efficient conversion of carbohydrates into 5-hydroxymethylfurfural (HMF), which shows good activity and high selectivity for HMF preparation from saccharides. The catalyst is stable in aqueous system which makes it as an ideal catalyst for HMF production. High HMF yield was obtained even in mild condition. The catalysts of the invention are advantageous in that they are environment-friendly, easy separation and recovery, can be re-used in subsequent reactions, do not corrode reaction reactors. These features make the catalyst as a suitable catalyst for HMF preparation and have strong industrial application significance.

The present invention concerns a SAPO-34 molecular sieve and method for preparing the same, whose chemical composition in the anhydrous state is expressed as: mDIPA·(SixAlyPz)O2, wherein, DIPA is diisopropylamine existing in cages and pore channels of said molecular sieve, wherein m is the molar number of diisopropylamine per one mole of (SixAlyPz)O2, and m is from 0.03 to 0.25; x, y, z respectively represents the molar number of Si, Al, P, and x is from 0.01 to 0.30, and y is from 0.40 to 0.60, and z is from 0.25 to 0.49, and x+y+z=1. The SAPO-34 molecular sieve can be used as catalysts for acid-catalyzed reaction or oxygenate to olefins reaction.

This invention provides a method for highly efficient catalytic conversion of cellulosic raw materials to glycols. In the process, cellulosic compounds such as crop stalk, wood powder and etc., as feedstock are subjected to one-step catalytic conversion with a ternary composite catalyst composed of organic acid or inorganic acid which does not contain tungsten, a transition metal from Groups 8, 9 or 10 such as iron, cobalt, nickel, ruthenium, rhodium, palladium, iridium, and platinum, or a mixture thereof, and a tungsten oxide, a tungsten sulfide, a tungsten chloride, a tungsten hydroxide, tungsten bronze, tungstic acid, a tungstate, a metatungstate acid, a metatungstate, a paratungstate acid, a paratungstate, a peroxotungstic acid, pertungstate and heteropoly tungstate, or a mixture thereof. The reaction is carried out under hydrothermal conditions at a temperature between 120-300° C. with hydrogen pressure between 1-13 MPa.
