Abstract: A turbo machine includes a rotation shaft that comprises a first taper portion and a first cylinder portion, the first taper portion decreasing in diameter toward one end of the rotation shaft, the first cylinder portion being constant in diameter in an axial direction of the rotation shaft; a first impeller that is fixed to the rotation shaft and that is used for compressing or expanding working fluid; a first bearing that rotatably supports the first taper portion and the first cylinder portion; and a second bearing that is positioned on an opposite side of the first impeller from the first bearing in the axial direction of the rotation shaft and that supports the rotation shaft both in the axial direction and a radial direction of the rotation shaft.

Abstract: A casing includes a first plate made of a metal, a support made of a resin, and a second plate fixed to the support. The first plate includes a flat plate portion, a through hole passing through the flat plate portion, and a claw portion extending upward from an edge of the through hole. A portion of the support is located in the through hole. The support covers a portion of the claw portion such that the support is prevented from turning and from coming off in an upward direction. The claw portion is defined by a portion of the first plate extending along a longest line segment inside the through hole in a plan view being bent upward from the flat plate portion. This enables the claw portion to have a great length even in a small area of the first plate to securely fix the support to the first plate.

Abstract: A fluid vapor distillation apparatus. The apparatus includes a source fluid input, and an evaporator condenser apparatus. The evaporator condenser apparatus includes a substantially cylindrical housing and a plurality of tubes in the housing. The source fluid input is fluidly connected to the evaporator condenser and the evaporator condenser transforms source fluid into steam and transforms compressed steam into product fluid. Also included in the fluid vapor distillation apparatus is a heat exchanger fluidly connected to the source fluid input and a product fluid output. The heat exchanger includes an outer tube and at least one inner tube. Also included in the fluid vapor distillation apparatus is a regenerative blower fluidly connected to the evaporator condenser. The regenerative blower compresses steam, and the compressed steam flows to the evaporative condenser where compressed steam is transformed into product fluid.

Abstract: A turbocharger compressor cover (114) including an inner shroud contour (122) configured to receive a compressor wheel (118) having a plurality of blades (140). Each blade (140) includes a leading edge (142), a contour edge (144), and a trailing edge (146). An inlet passage (124) leads to the inner shroud contour (122) and a circumferential groove (130) is formed around the inlet passage (124). The groove (130) includes a trailing edge (136) that is aligned with the outboard end (148) of the leading edge (142) of the blades. The compressor cover (114) includes an edge relief (138) formed along the groove trailing edge (136), such as a 45 degree chamfer. The circumferential groove (130) has a width and a depth, wherein the width and depth are approximately equal. The chamfer intersects the groove (130) approximately half the depth from the bottom of the groove (130).

Abstract: An adjustable fan damping apparatus for exerciser includes a casing having an annular chamber defined therein and an annular intake structure is disposed to an inner side of the annular chamber. A centrifugal impeller is rotatably received in the annular chamber. Multiple adjust blades is pivotally mounted onto the annular intake structure and surrounds the annular intake structure, wherein each adjust blade has two pivots longitudinally extending from two opposite ends of the adjust blade and a driven element extending from one side of then adjust blade where the two pivots extends. A drive device is connected to the driven element of each of the multiple adjust blades. The drive device includes a driving element is rotatably coupled with the driven element of each of the multiple adjust blades for simultaneously driving the multiple adjust blades in a same angle relative to the annular intake structure.

The compressor includes a compressor shaft having compressor blades attached thereto, positioned in an intake air duct, and rotating about an axis during compressor operation and a magnetic bearing positioned upstream of the compressor blades in the intake air duct, including a ring positioned around the compressor shaft, stator electrics arranged in the ring, and at least two magnets arranged on the compressor shaft configured to exert a magnetic force on the stator electrics to form an air gap between the ring and the compressor shaft.

The control piston can be moved by control pressure present at the supply connection (P). The thermal element (62) interacts with the working spring (74) such that the thermal element causes a temperature-dependent change of the preload force acting on the control piston (30).
