Abstract: According to an embodiment, the display device includes a touch controller, an image processor, and a display driver. The touch controller is configured to output touch event information corresponding to a touch signal received from a touch panel. The image processor is configured to determine whether a host is in a sleep mode or a normal mode, and to output mixed image data obtained by overlapping an image displayed on a display panel and a marker corresponding to the touch event information while a host is in the sleep mode. The display driver is configured to output pixel driving signals corresponding to the mixed image data to the display panel. The touch controller or image processor is further configured to determine whether a touch input of a user to the touch panel meets a predetermined condition, and if the predetermined condition is met, output a wake-up signal to the host.

Abstract: Some embodiments include a mobile device with a light sensor overlaid under a display (e.g., a touchscreen). The mobile device can identify a command to capture an image. The mobile device can adjust at least a target portion of an opaqueness adjustable region of the display directly over the light sensor. The opaqueness adjustable region is capable of transforming from substantially opaque to substantially transparent. The mobile device can capture the image utilizing at least the light sensor while the target portion of the opaqueness adjustable region is substantially transparent.

Abstract: An electronic device and a method for displaying an image transmitted by a robot and remotely controlling a movement of the robot are provided. The electronic device includes a communicator, an inputter, a display, and a controller. The communicator receives, from the robot, an image photographed by the robot and time information. The inputter receives a command to control the robot. The display displays a screen corresponding to the image. The controller calculates a time delay between the electronic device and the robot based on the time information, control the display to display a graphical object to be overlaid on the screen, and control the communicator to transmit the command to the robot. The graphical object represents a field of view of the robot at a current time. The field of view of the robot at the current time may be estimated based on the time delay information.

Abstract: An information display system capable of reducing a trouble about display caused by display of content information corresponding to numerous markers and reducing process loads and a control method of the information display system are provided. In this system, a movement speed and a movement direction of a client apparatus operated by a user are detected, and a size and a position of a marker recognition area for recognizing a marker in an imaged image are determined according to the detected movement speed and the detected movement direction. Abstract: A method for display, consisting of acquiring an electrical signal from a heart of a subject over multiple heart cycles. The electrical signal is partitioned into a succession of synchronized segments having respective start times at a selected annotation point in the heart cycles. The method includes overlaying respective graphical representations of the synchronized segments in the succession on a display screen, such that each segment is first presented on the display screen with an initial display intensity at a respective display time corresponding to a respective start time of the segment. The method further includes gradually decreasing a display intensity of each segment overlaid on the display screen as a decaying function of a time elapsed since the respective display time.
