    Abstract: To reduce an increase in the burden of designing circuits used in a pen pressure sensor, provided is a stylus including a detection circuit that is connectable to a pen pressure sensor that, in operation, acquires pen pressure data of the stylus, the pen pressure sensor being a capacitive sensor in which a capacitance value changes according to applied force or a resistive sensor in which a resistance value changes according to applied force, the detection circuit can selectively operating in a first mode and a second mode, the detection circuit, in operation, acquiring the pen pressure data based on the capacitance value of the pen pressure sensor while the detection circuit operates in the first mode, and the detection circuit, in operation, acquiring the pen pressure data in reference to the resistance value of the pen pressure sensor while the detection circuit operates in the second mode.

    Abstract: A tiled interactive screen comprises a mounting surface and tiles mounted on the mounting surface. Each tile comprises a tile substrate with photoluminescent marks disposed in a pattern on or in the tile substrate. Each photoluminescent mark is unique with respect to every other photoluminescent mark on any of the tiles, each photoluminescent mark comprises a pattern encoding information specifying the location of the photoluminescent mark on the tile, and each tile substrate is at least partially transparent to light absorbed by the photoluminescent marks and is at least partially transparent to light emitted by the photoluminescent marks. The photoluminescent marks respond to stimulating electromagnetic radiation by emitting electromagnetic radiation. A tiled photonic interactive system comprises a tiled photonic interactive screen and an optical stylus operable to emit stimulating radiation onto one or more photoluminescent marks and respond to electromagnetic radiation emitted by the stimulated photoluminescent marks.

    Abstract: A display device includes: a display panel comprising a display area at which an image is displayed; an input sensor on the display panel and configured to operate in a first mode to sense a first input or in a second mode to sense a second input provided by an input device; a sensor controller configured to control an operation of the input sensor; and a wireless power supply configured to transmit a wireless power signal to the input device at a transmission frequency in response to the input sensor operating in the second mode, wherein the sensor controller is configured to transmit an uplink signal to the input device through the input sensor in the second mode, and the uplink signal comprises a set signal corresponding to the transmission frequency of the wireless power signal.
