摘要: There is provided an image acquisition controller for acquiring an adapted image. The image acquisition controller comprises an interface towards a first image sensor, the first image sensor being arranged to acquire an image, and an interface towards a gaze tracking unit, the gaze tracking unit comprising a second image sensor for registering a gaze position on a scene associated with the image acquired by the first image sensor. The image acquisition controller is arranged to periodically receive information over the interface towards the gaze tracking unit about at least a position on the scene associated with the image provided from the first image sensor where the scene represents a larger part of an image registered by the first image sensor than intended to be acquired as the adapted image. The image acquisition controller is arranged to provide information over the interface towards the first image sensor about a position on the first image sensor, a size of a sensor area associated with the position on the first image sensor and a frame rate for image acquisition within said area. The image acquisition controller is arranged to receive image data over the interface towards the first image sensor wherein the image data at least comprises image data with the size, the position on the first image sensor, and the frame rate for image acquisition within said area such that the received image data is stored. An image acquisition system or device comprising the controller, a communication device with corresponding image acquisition capabilities, a method of image acquisition, and a computer program for implementing the method are also disclosed.

摘要: There is provided an imaging device and an imaging method that can perform imaging while appropriately adjusting each of exposure of SDR video and exposure of HDR video. The imaging device includes: an SDR signal processing unit configured to generate SDR video on the basis of a video signal output from an imaging element; an HDR signal processing unit configured to generate HDR video on the basis of the video signal; an SDR/HDR exposure adjusting unit configured to adjust each of exposure of the SDR video and exposure of the HDR video; an SDR exposure adjusting unit configured to adjust only the exposure of the SDR video; an SDR recording unit on which the SDR video is recorded; an HDR recording unit on which the HDR video is recorded; and a display unit configured to display SDR exposure information about the SDR video and HDR exposure information about the HDR video together with the SDR video and the HDR video. The present technology can be applied to, for example, a camera capable of simultaneously producing SDR video and HDR video.

摘要: A video surveillance system includes a plurality of cameras including an action recognition engine that classifies the video content to at least one of a plurality of predetermined actions in real time. The action recognition engine of a first camera communicates with at least one other action recognition engine, whereby detected actions and tasks related to the detected action can be exchanged. The cameras include a feature encoder operatively coupled to the action recognition engine that generates an encoded feature substream and a video encoder that receives the video content and provides an encoded video substream. A multiplexor receives the encoded feature substream and encoded video substream and generates an encoded camera bitstream including encoded video content and detected action content, which can be decoded at a receiver site for human and machine consumption.

摘要: A method for detecting object paths in a workplace, at a sensor block, includes responsive to detecting absence of motion, capturing an initial sequence of frames at a baseline frame rate at a camera and for each frame in the initial sequence of frames: detecting an initial constellation of objects; and transmitting a container representing the initial constellation of objects to a computer system. The method further includes, responsive to detecting motion: capturing a frame at the baseline frame rate at the camera; detecting a first constellation of objects, including a set of humans, in the frame; calculating a quantity of humans; transitioning the camera to a first frame rate; capturing a second sequence of frames at the first frame rate; detecting a second constellation of objects in the second sequence of frames; deriving a set of object paths; and transmitting the set of object paths to the computer system.

摘要: Described are multiple cameras in a conference room, each pointed in a different direction. A primary camera includes a microphone array to perform sound source localization (SSL). The SSL is used in combination with a video image to identify the speaker from among multiple individuals that appear in the video image. Pose information of the speaker is developed. Pose information of each individual identified in each other camera is developed. The speaker pose information is compared to the pose information of the individuals from the other cameras. The best match for each other camera is selected as the speaker in that camera. The speaker views of each camera are compared to determine the speaker view with the most frontal view of the speaker. That camera is selected to provide the video for provision to the far end.

摘要: Provided is a method performed in a portable terminal mounted on a rotatable terminal cradle to generate a 360° captured image by controlling operations of the terminal cradle. The 360° captured image is used generate a virtual space corresponding to a captured real space. Communication is established with the terminal cradle; an image generation input is received from a user; a first captured image is generated by imaging in an imaging direction that the terminal faces; driving commands are transmitted to the terminal cradle to rotate the imaging direction of the terminal clockwise or counterclockwise; a second captured image is generated by imaging in the changed imaging direction when the terminal cradle rotates according to the driving command; and presence of a human object is determined by recognizing objects in the first and second captured images, and re-imaging is performed in the imaging direction when a human object is present.
