摘要: The following embodiments relate to a method of controlling an electronic device to implement virtual smoke in a virtual display device. The method of controlling an electronic device according to an embodiment includes predicting a virtual smoke implementation timepoint based on a smoking pattern learned using a pressure sensor and a button included in the electronic device; adjusting a volume and concentration of virtual smoke based on the learned smoking pattern; and transmitting a control signal including the virtual smoke implementation timepoint and the volume and concentration of virtual smoke to a device for displaying a virtual image.

摘要: A system may include an electronic device such as a head-mounted device and a handheld input device for controlling the electronic device. A tracking device may be removably coupled to the handheld input device to increase the precision with which the head-mounted device tracks the handheld input device. The tracking device may have larger dimensions than the handheld input device and/or may have an expandable housing that expands and retracts. Visual markers on the tracking device may include infrared light-emitting diodes, geometric surface features, or other optical tracking features. The tracking device may serve as a secondary input device for the head-mounted device when the tracking device is decoupled from the input device. The tracking device may have a recess for receiving a shaft of the input device and may have magnets or other attachment structures for attaching the tracking device to the input device.

摘要: Systems and methods for displaying a virtual reticle in an augmented or virtual reality environment by a wearable device are described. The environment can include real or virtual objects that may be interacted with by the user through a variety of poses, such as, e.g., head pose, eye pose or gaze, or body pose. The user may select objects by pointing the virtual reticle toward a target object by changing pose or gaze. The wearable device can recognize that an orientation of a user's head or eyes is outside of a range of acceptable or comfortable head or eye poses and accelerate the movement of the reticle away from a default position and toward a position in the direction of the user's head or eye movement, which can reduce the amount of movement by the user to align the reticle and target.

摘要: Generating and/or utilizing image shortcuts that cause one or more corresponding computer actions to be performed in response to determining that one or more features are present in image(s) from a camera of a computing device of a user (e.g., present in a real-time image feed from the camera). An image shortcut can be generated in response to user interface input, such as a spoken command. For example, the user interface input can direct the automated assistant to perform one or more actions in response to object(s) having certain feature(s) being present in a field of view of the camera. Subsequently, when the user directs their camera at object(s) having such feature(s), the assistant application can cause the action(s) to be automatically performed. For example, the assistant application can cause data to be presented and/or can control a remote device in accordance with the image shortcut.

摘要: The disclosed subject matter provides a computing system configured to present a map-centric interface to a user, the map-centric interface usable by the user to control selected ones of a plurality of digital signs. The computing system is further configured to receive via a network interface travel data indicative of availability of travel resources, data corresponding to emergency events, and instructions from a third-party entity regarding the emergency events. The computing system is further configured to connect to a particular digital sign of the selected ones and display information corresponding to the received travel data associated with a geographic region in which the digital sign is located. In addition, the computing system is configured to display on one or more of the plurality of digital signs emergency event messages based on the data corresponding to emergency events.

摘要: A vehicular vision system includes an interior-viewing camera disposed in a vehicle and viewing a driver of the vehicle, and a forward-viewing camera disposed at a windshield of the vehicle and viewing at least forward of the vehicle. Image data captured by the interior-viewing camera is transferred from the interior-viewing camera to the ECU and is processed at the ECU. Image data captured by the forward-viewing camera is transferred from the forward-viewing camera to the ECU and is processed at the ECU. Responsive to image processing of image data captured by the interior-viewing camera, at least one selected from the group consisting of (i) position of the driver's head is determined and (ii) direction that the driver's eyes are viewing is determined. Image data captured by the forward-viewing camera is processed for a plurality of driver assistant systems of the vehicle.

摘要: An electronic device may be provided with control circuitry, wireless transceiver circuitry, and a display. The electronic device may be used to provide information to a user in response to being pointed at a particular object. The control circuitry may determine when the electronic device is pointed at a particular object using wireless control circuitry and/or motion sensor circuitry. In response to determining that the electronic device is pointed at a particular object, the control circuitry may take suitable action. This may include, for example, displaying information about an object when the electronic device is pointed at the object, displaying control icons for electronic equipment when the electronic device is pointed at the electronic equipment, and/or displaying a virtual object when the electronic device is pointed at real world object.
