摘要: The exemplified intrinsic phase space tomography methods and systems facilitate the analysis and evaluation of complex, quasi-periodic system by generating computed phase-space tomographic images as a representation of the dynamics of the quasi-periodic cardiac systems. The computed phase-space tomographic images can be presented to a physician to assist in the assessment of presence or non-presence of disease. In some embodiments, the phase space tomographic images are used as input to a trained neural network classifier configured to assess for presence or non-presence of significant coronary artery disease.

摘要: Embodiments can relate to a system configured for locating and tracking the movement of a medical device (e.g., a catheter). Embodiments of the system can include use of energized induction coil assemblies located outside of a patient to generate an electronic field and/or a magnetic field to induce signals in an inductive sensor located in the tip of the catheter and/or stylet. The sensor signals can be analyzed to provide data related to the position and trajectory of the catheter tip and/or stylet as it is moved within the body. In some embodiments, the energized induction coil assemblies can be disposed in and/or on a platform that is placed on a patient's chest.

摘要: Electroanatomic mapping of the epicardium includes acquiring first and second electroanatomic data from first and second epicardial locations, acquiring a closed 3-dimensional image of the epicardium and modeling the image as a 3-dimensional triangular mesh. The first and second locations align with front-facing triangles and rear-facing triangles of the mesh. The second locations are projected from the rear-facing triangles onto the closest front-facing triangles. The first and second electroanatomic data are displayed on the front-facing triangles and the closest front-facing triangles, respectively.

摘要: A system can include a near-field instrument to be placed inside a chamber of a heart, a far-field instrument to be placed in a stable position in relation to the heart, and a control unit. The control unit is configured to identify a unique pattern in electrogram information received from the far-field instrument when the near-field instrument is in one or more positions within the heart. When the unique pattern is detected, the control unit is configured to receive electrogram information from the near-field instrument. While recording electrogram information from the near-field instrument, the control unit is also configured to record voltage and complex fractionated atrial electrogram (CFAE) characteristics of the tissue inside a heart chamber. This information combined with rotor information can be used to identify substrate versus non-substrate rotor characteristics.

摘要: An ECG signal correlation and display system is provided which includes memory configured to store ECG data corresponding to electrical signals, acquired over time, from different areas of a heart and location data corresponding to acquired location signals indicating locations of the different areas of the heart from which the electrical signals are acquired. The system also includes a processing device configured to generate, from the ECG data and the location data, mapping information for displaying a map of the heart and determine a location of an anatomical region of the heart on the map. The processing device is also configured to determine which of the plurality of electrical signals are acquired from the anatomical region of the heart and generate correlated ECG signal information for displaying the electrical signals determined to be acquired from the anatomical region of the heart.

摘要: Disclosed are various examples and embodiments of systems, devices, components and methods configured to detect a location of a source of at least one cardiac rhythm disorder in a patient's heart. In some embodiments, electrogram signals are acquired from inside a patient's heart, and subsequently normalized, adjusted and/or filtered, followed by generating a two-dimensional spatial map, grid or representation of the electrode positions, processing the amplitude-adjusted and filtered electrogram signals across the 2D representation to generate a plurality of three-dimensional electrogram surfaces, one surface being generated for each or selected discrete times, and processing the plurality of three-dimensional electrogram surfaces across the 2D map through time to generate a velocity vector map. The resulting velocity vector map is configured to reveal the location of the source of the at least one cardiac rhythm disorder, which may be, by way of example, an active rotor in a patient's myocardium and atrium.

摘要: A computer-implemented method for providing summary information for lifesaving activities is disclosed. The method involves sensing one or more activities that are repeatedly and cyclically performed on a victim by a rescuer; identifying a cyclical timing interval over which performance is to be analyzed fora integer number of cycles of the one or more activities, and gathering data from the sensing of the one or more activities during the time interval; generating, from analysis of the one or more activities, summary data that condenses data sensed for the one or more activities into a summary of the one or more activities; and providing, for display to a user, a visual summary of the performance of the one or more activities over the identified time interval.

摘要: A system for identification of one or more neuro-cardiological disturbances of a subject in a post-acute stroke treatment and in the intensive care setting is provided. The system includes a wearable device configured for capturing data associated with a neural and heart activity. The wearable device includes a first electrode and a second electrode configured for measuring an electrical activity of a heart to generate a first signal. The wearable device also includes an accelerometer configured for detecting and acquiring neural accelerometry data to generate a second signal. Moreover, the system includes a processor with a memory. The memory stores a plurality of modules to be executed by the processor and wherein the plurality of modules are configured to receive the first and the second signal from the wearable device, combine the first signal and the second signal to generate an output signal, display the output signal, wherein the output signal is a graphical representation of a time-series data depicting one or more frequencies of the neural and heart activity and identify one or more neuro-cardiological disturbances based on the displayed output signal.
