摘要: A vehicle includes a first sensor that senses a state of the vehicle and a second sensor that senses outside of the vehicle. A computing device is configured to receive signals from the sensors and to control rotating and turning of the wheels. While the vehicle is parked, the computing device determines according to a signal received from the sensors, that a condition is satisfied. The condition may be associated with a particular wheel. Based on determining that the condition is satisfied, and while the vehicle remains parked, the computing device initiates automatically rotating or turning the particular wheel associated with the condition.

摘要: There is provided a method to stop or slow down a vehicle in an emergency, the method involving a vehicle comprising an emergency stop system which is able to cause the vehicle to stop or slow down, said emergency stop system comprising at least one microphone for detecting sounds in the vicinity of the vehicle, and a sound analysis unit for analysing sound, the method involving the steps: a) the microphone of the emergency stop system receiving a sound and sending a signal representing the sound to the sound analysis unit, b) the sound analysis unit of the emergency stop system determining that the received sound is a predetermined sound or a predetermined sound pattern, and c) the emergency stop system causing the vehicle to stop or slow down.

At least one dielectric layer is arranged between the electrodes, wherein at least one at least partially liquid-permeable and/or liquid-adsorbing moisture layer is arranged at least in some places on a side, facing away from the support material, of at least one electrode and/or of the dielectric layer. The at least one electrode and/or the dielectric layer are thus then arranged between the support material and the moisture layer in a transverse direction, such that a capacitance is at least partially changed by the liquid at least partially hitting the dielectric layer, wherein a processing unit is designed and provided to measure and/or store measurement values of the sensor. This creates a capacitive moisture sensor. The invention is characterized in that the data measured by the sensor is transmitted by the processing unit to a central CPU, wherein this data is processed by the processing unit.

摘要: A parking brake and anti-theft apparatus as described herein may include a brake assembly, a linear actuator and a plurality of locking pins. The brake assembly may include a rotor plate. The rotor plate may include a plurality of openings in and/or through the rotor plate. The plurality of locking pins may be extendable by the linear actuator. The pins may be aligned perpendicular to a face of the rotor plate such that, as at least one of the pins is disposed over one of the plurality of openings and the actuator extends the plurality of locking pins, the pin disposed over the one of the plurality of openings passes into the one of the plurality of openings. In various embodiments, the plurality of pins may comprise a length equal to or greater than a length between two adjacent openings of the plurality of openings.
