    摘要: A heat exchanger, e.g., an indirect charge air cooler for an internal combustion engine, is disclosed. The heat exchanger includes a plurality of tubes that provide a first channel system for a first fluid, and a second channel system for a second fluid disposed between the plurality of tubes that is fluidically separated from the first channel system. Two opposite side parts for fluidically bounding the second channel system are provided, between which the plurality of tubes are arranged. At least one frame part is soldered together with a respective outer edge of the two side parts. The outer edge of a side part includes a tab bent over S-shaped as edge reinforcement with a first tab section solder-plated on an outside and a second tab section solder-plated on an inside. The frame part has an S-shaped cross section with a first receptacle that receives the first tab section.

A combustor is housed in the space inside the engine case. The inner annular wall of the combustor includes a first rail on an upstream end thereof with a radially outward opening slot. The outer annular wall of the combustor includes a second rail on an upstream end thereof. A plurality of circumferentially spaced apart dome liners extending from the first rail to the second rail. Each dome liner extends tangentially in a direction oblique relative to a radius extending from the longitudinal axis. A plurality of multipoint fuel injector components are assembled across the first and second rails to from a combustor dome together with the dome liners.

    摘要: An air filter element includes a filter arrangement, an elbow, and a filter element seal member. The filter arrangement includes a filter media pack having a dirty air inlet and a clean air outlet, wherein air flowing through the clean air outlet flows in a first axial direction and the clean air outlet defines a filter arrangement cross sectional area. The elbow has a first end constructed to extend from the filter arrangement clean air outlet, a second end wherein air flowing through the second end flows in a second axial direction, and an air flow enclosure extending from the elbow first end to the elbow second end. The air flow enclosure includes an air deflector constructed to direct air from the first axial direction to the second axial direction, wherein the second axial direction is different from the first axial direction, and an interior volume between the elbow first end and the elbow second end. The filter element seal member is located on the elbow second end, wherein the filter element seal member is constructed to seal to a clean air intake, the filter element seal member located on the elbow second end defining a seal member cross sectional area. The filter element can be characterized as having a ratio of the seal member cross sectional area to the filter arrangement cross sectional area of at least 0.5. The filter element can have a z-filter media pack for a pleated media pack. The air filter element can be arranged in an air cleaner.

    摘要: A system for supplying gaseous fuel to a fuel consumer at a desired supply pressure from a fuel source within which fuel is stored at a storage pressure different from the supply pressure comprises at least two variable volume chambers, and valving for connecting each of the variable volume chambers cyclically and alternately to the fuel source and consumer. During each operating cycle, the valving connects a first of the variable volume chambers to the fuel consumer to supply fuel at the desired supply pressure and connects a second of the variable volume chambers to the fuel source to introduce a quantity of fuel at the storage pressure. The volume of the second variable volume chamber is changed after the introduction of the quantity of fuel therein to change the pressure from the storage pressure to the supply pressure in readiness for an ensuing cycle.
