摘要： A filter cartridge for an air cleaner assembly is disclosed. The filter cartridge can include a media pack configured for installation into an air cleaner housing, the media pack extending along a longitudinal axis between opposite inlet and outlet flow ends, the media pack defining an outer perimeter. The filter cartridge can also include a circumferential shell surrounding at least a portion of the media pack outer perimeter. A radial flange extending from the circumferential shell proximate the media pack inlet end can also be provided. The flange can define a plurality of openings that are configured to receive protrusions on a housing body of the air cleaner assembly. The interaction between the protrusions and openings operates to ensure a secure seal between the housing body and the seal member.

摘要： The invention relates to a filter arrangement for cleaning an air stream having at least three filter elements, wherein each filter element has a bellows made of pleated filter medium, wherein the filter elements are arranged in series and any two adjacent filter elements are connected to one another by means of a connecting tab. According to the invention, a fold run-out of all end folds of all bellows is oriented in a particular direction, the connecting tabs are of two different embodiments and the different embodiments of the connecting tabs are arranged alternatingly when viewed in a longitudinal direction of the filter arrangement. Not only is a simple installation of the filter elements in a filter holder thus facilitated but also a defined seating of the filter elements in the filter holder is ensured.

摘要： Articles and methods involving filter media are generally provided. In certain embodiments, the filter media includes at least a first layer, a second layer, and an adhesive resin positioned between the first layer and the second layer. In some embodiments, the first layer may be a pre-filter layer or a support layer. The second layer may, for example, comprise fibers formed by a solution spinning process and/or may comprise fine fibers. In some embodiments, the adhesive resin may be present in a relatively low amount and/or may have a low glass transition temperature. The filter media as a whole may have one or more advantageous properties, including one or more of a high stiffness, a high bond strength between the first layer and the second layer, a high gamma, and/or a low increase in air resistance after being subjected to an IPA vapor discharge. The filter media may be, for example, a HEPA filter and/or an ULPA filter.

摘要： Filter media comprising a pre-filter layer and related components, systems, and methods associated therewith are provided. In some embodiments, the pre-filter layer may be designed to impart desirable properties to the filter media, such as a high gamma and/or long service life, while having relatively minimal or no adverse effects on another property of the filter media that is important for a given application. For instance, a pre-filter layer may be used to improve the upstream removal of fine particulate matter, which may clog a downstream efficiency layer comprising submicron fibers and reduce filtration performance. The pre-filter layer may be configured to increase service life and/or increase the gamma of the filter media. Filter media, as described herein, may be particularly well-suited for applications that involve filtering air, though the media may also be used in other applications.

摘要： An environmental control unit comprises a housing, a vacuum cleaner, a filtration unit, and a blower. The vacuum cleaner is positioned in the housing and is configured to receive a tool contaminant stream produced by at least one tool. The vacuum cleaner filters particulate matter from the tool contaminant stream, thereby producing a filtered air stream. The filtration unit is also positioned within the housing and comprises at least one filter. The blower is positioned within the housing downstream of the filtration unit. The blower is configured to create negative air pressure within the second compartment to draw an area contaminant stream from an exterior of the environmental control unit into the housing. A second blower may also be present. The blower draws the filtered air stream and the area contaminant stream through the at least one filter in the filtration unit to produce a filtered mixture stream.

摘要： System and method for removing molecular contaminants from an air stream are disclosed. The system includes first, second and third filter. The first filter removes organic contaminants from an air stream passing through the first filter. The second filter is downstream of the first filter, is physically and chemically exchangeable with the first filter and removes organic contaminants from the air stream output of the first filter. The third filter, downstream of the second filter, is not exchangeable with the first filter or the second filter. The first position filter can be replaced by the second filter in the second position when the first filter in the first position becomes depleted as detected. A new filter in the second filter position is inserted. Replacing the depleted first filter with the second downstream filter reduces costs and waste while inserting the new filter in the second position ensures removing organic contaminants.

Each lever has a first arm configured to mate with the annular groove, a second arm having a bearing surface, and a pivot disposed between the first arm and the second arm. A force upon the bearing surface urges the bowl into the head to form a seal.

The shaped body has a receiving depression that is flow-tight relative to the inwardly positioned flow space. The sealing disk has a receiving opening aligned with the receiving depression of the shaped body. The receiving depression and the receiving opening can receive a support element of a filter housing.
