Abstract: A filter element has a holder arrangement with a filter bellows and a partition element arranged at different regions of the holder arrangement. The partition element extends between first and second chambers of a resonator structure when installed in a filter system and has a passage acoustically coupling the two chambers. Such a filter element is exchangeably arranged in the filter housing of the filter system which has a main inlet, a main outlet, and an auxiliary connection outlet. The filter bellows is arranged in flow direction between the main inlet and the two outlets. The partition element is arranged between the two chambers of the resonator structure for noise damping of the auxiliary connection outlet. Its passage acoustically couples the two chambers. The partition element projects into an auxiliary connection resonator region of the filter housing and has end regions contacting walls delimiting the auxiliary connection resonator region.

Abstract: Filter media for a drum filter that includes a plurality of annular frame members, each annular frame member having a circumference is disclosed. The filter media includes a filter sheet with first and second engagement strips having a cord portion and an attachment tab portion connected to the filter sheet. The first and second engagement strips engage with first and second connecting strips located on the annular frame members. Each connecting strip has a receiving portion that receives the cord portion of the associated engagement strip. Each connecting strip also has a body portion configured to engage a drum filter frame. An engagement mechanism configured to attach a filter sheet to a drum filter frame is also disclosed. A system for attaching a filter media to a cylindrical drum filter is also disclosed. When the first and second engagement strips are fully received in the first and second connecting strips, the filter media extends between the first annular frame member and second annular frame member and along the first and second circumferential edges to enclose a first cylindrical filter space.

Abstract: A system includes an array of connected disinfecting filter assembly modules arranged in a plane to filter air that passes through the array as the air flows along an airflow pathway through the array. Each module includes a housing that defines a first slot and a second slot, and a power control unit. A pre-filter can be slid in its operating position along the first slot of the housing, and an electrically enhanced filter can be slid in its operating position along the second slot. The electrically enhanced filter includes a high voltage wire and a ground grid to create an electric field the high voltage wire and the ground grid and an electrical contact pad that electrically connects the power control unit to the high voltage wire when the electrically enhanced filter is located in its operating position in the second slot of the housing.

Abstract: A flat filter element has a filter medium and a sealing section that seals the flat filter element relative to a filter housing. A support element section is arranged on a circumferential side of the filter medium outside of the sealing section and supports the flat filter element relative to an inner side of the filter housing, wherein the support element section projects past the filter element in at least one direction. The filter housing has a mounting opening through which the flat filter element is inserted into the interior where the flat filter element is arranged such that the inlet is separated from the outlet of the filter housing. A projection arranged on an inner side of the filter housing supports under mechanical tension the support element section of the flat filter element in a mounting position of the flat filter element in the interior.

Abstract: An air filter has a filter housing and a filter element inserted in the interior of the filter housing. The filter element has an inflow surface and an outflow surface and a filter medium that extends between inflow and outflow surfaces. The filter element has a circumferentially extending seal arranged in the area of the inflow surface or outflow surface and interacting in the mounting position with the sealing surface of the filter housing to separate inlet and outlet of the air filter. A support device clamps the filter element transversely to the insertion direction in the filter housing by a transverse clamping action in a support area that is spaced from the seal. The transverse clamping action results by an insertion movement of the filter element into the filter housing by interaction of the filter element with inner sides of the filter housing.
