摘要: At least one of nozzle holes is provided as a non-circular nozzle hole where the ratio of the longest diameter to the shortest diameter of an outlet opening portion is greater than 1. A virtual non-circular cone and a virtual circular cone are defined for each of the non-circular nozzle hole and a circular nozzle hole where the ratio of the longest diameter to the shortest diameter of the outlet opening portion is 1. At least two adjacent nozzle holes are formed such that the virtual non-circular cone does not interfere with the virtual circular cone or the virtual non-circular cone.

摘要: A method of manufacturing an orifice is provided to make the orifice capable of spraying a very small amount of fluid in an ultra-high pressure and very low temperature environments. The method also makes it possible to provide the orifice with reduced volume and mass. More specifically, the method effectively realizes a desired hydraulic performance through a simple manufacturing method in which a part of a capillary pipe is pressed to form a channel region having a cross section close to a rectangular shape.

摘要: A throttle body has a throttle bore with an inlet, an outlet and an air passage. A throttle valve has a valve head received within the throttle bore. A fuel metering valve is mounted on the throttle body and has a valve element and a fuel outlet, the valve element is movable relative to a valve seat to control fuel flow through the fuel outlet. And the nozzle body is carried by the throttle body and has a fuel passage and a feed passage. The fuel passage is arranged to receive fuel that exits the fuel outlet, and is communicated with a fuel chamber through which fluid flows into the throttle bore. The feed passage is communicated with the air passage and with the fuel passage upstream of the fuel chamber. Air in the feed passage is mixed with fuel in the fuel passage upstream of the fuel chamber.

摘要: A nozzle hole of a nozzle plate is coupled to a fuel injection port of a fuel injection device via a swirl chamber and first and second fuel guide channels opened into the swirl chamber. The swirl chamber is formed by combining first and second elliptical-shaped recessed portions. The first fuel guide channel opens at a side of a short axis of the first elliptical-shaped recessed portion and a side of the short axis that does not overlap with the second elliptical-shaped recessed portion, and the second fuel guide channel opens at a side of a short axis of the second elliptical-shaped recessed portion and a side of the short axis that does not overlap with the first elliptical-shaped recessed portion. The first and second fuel guide channels have depths deeper than those of the swirl chamber and extend inside of the swirl chamber while gradually reducing cross-sectional areas.

摘要: In the preferred embodiments an air flow diverting blade is integral to a base that doubles as a collar designed to coaxially attach to the tip end of a typical port fuel injector for internal combustion engines.Upon simple manual manipulation of the set rotational angle of the typically externally exposed portion of the port fuel injector along its longitudinal axis, as typical modern port injection systems allow after installation, the angle of the intra-port flow diverting blade can be selectively varied to either straighten existing swirl and increase top end flow, or, introduce lateral directional swirl to whatever desired angle and intensity in either direction is desired. The functional use of a typical port fuel injector is thereby elevated to a dual function of both tunable fuel and air flow control at the point of induction into a combustion chamber without any modification to existing engine designs or their engine management control systems employed therefore. The flow diverting blade can be configured to divert flow around the intake valve stem, guide and guide boss in such a manner to optimize the overall flow dimension of the induction system of a typical internal combustion engine. The flow diverting blade also provides an effective means by which the proximity and angle of fuel injection, relative to the combustion chamber, can be altered and improved as desired. The flow diverting blade also provides an effective means by which a modest increase in effective fuel injector nozzle pressure and fuel vaporization can be realized during periods of high load.

The valve component includes an inner convex surface curved in a partial spherical shape with a predetermined curvature radius, and an outer convex surface that is provided continuously to the outer peripheral side of the inner convex surface and curved in a partial spherical shape having a smaller curvature radius than the inner convex surface. A boundary portion between the inner convex surface and the outer convex surface protrudes toward the valve seat surface so as to be able to be separated from or seated on the valve seat surface.
