    摘要: A single-pole multi-throw switch includes a set of selection switches. The set of selection switches includes a set of primary switches, a first set and a second set of secondary switches. The primary set of switches includes a plurality of primary transistors coupled in series for transmitting radio frequency signals. The first set of secondary switches is coupled to the primary set of switches and includes a plurality of first secondary transistors coupled in series for transmitting the radio frequency signals when the primary transistors and the first secondary transistors are turned on. The second set of secondary switches is coupled to the primary set of switches and includes a plurality of second secondary transistors coupled in series for transmitting the radio frequency signals when the primary transistors and the second secondary transistors are turned on.

    摘要: The purpose is to adjust a characteristic of the isolation circuit with a simple control. An isolation circuit 1 of the invention includes a cell region 20 including a plurality of arrayed cells 21, each of which has a first conductor 22 that has at least one capacitance C1, C2, a second conductor 23 that is connected to the first conductor 22, has an inductance, and is short-circuited to a common electric potential, and a feed line 24 that is placed without a connection with the first conductor 22 and the second conductor 23, each size of which is smaller than a wavelength λ of a signal which is subject to operation of the cells 21; at least one power amount controller 25 that controls an amount of electric power to be fed to each of the feed lines 24 of the respective cells 21 of the cell region 20, thereby controlling either or both a dielectric constant and/or magnetic permeability of the cell region 20; and a circuit section 5 that is placed at a location where the circuit section undergoes action of either or both the dielectric constant and/or the magnetic permeability and that electrically isolates an input side from an output side.

    摘要: Disclosed are systems, circuits and methods related to low-loss bypass of a radio-frequency (RF) filter or diplexer. In some embodiments, a switching network circuitry can include a first switch that has an input pole configured to receive a radio-frequency (RF) signal, a pass-through throw configured to be connectable to the input pole to allow routing of the RF signal to an RF component, and at least one dedicated bypass throw configured to be connectable to the input pole and at least one bypass conduction path. The switching network circuitry can further include a second switch that has a pole and a throw, and is connectable between an output of the RF component and the bypass conduction path. Use of the dedicated bypass throw(s) in the first switch allows implementation of low-loss bypass of the filter or diplexer.

One or more MEMS switch arrays embedded within a multi-layer package bonded to the integrated circuit may be utilized for the switching and signal control. The RF components and one or more MEMS switch arrays may be integrated in the multi-layer package. The RF components may be electrically coupled to the integrated circuit via the one or more MEMS switch arrays. The MEMS switch arrays may be electrostatically or magnetically activated. The RF components may be coupled to one or more capacitor arrays in the integrated circuit. The RF components may include transformers, inductors, transmission lines, microstrip and/or coplanar waveguide filters and/or surface mount devices. The integrated circuit may be coupled to the multiple-layer package utilizing a flip-chip bonding technique.
