    摘要: A power line communication device including a current path provided between a first terminal and a second terminal. A coupling circuit connected between the first and second terminals includes a first circuit of a first inductor connected in parallel with a first capacitor and a first resistor. A sensor is configured to sense a communication parameter of the coupling circuit. The communication parameter may be a resonance of the first circuit, the quality (Q) factor of the resonance, the bandwidth (BW) of the coupling circuit, the resistance of the first resistor, or the impedance of the first circuit. A transceiver is adapted to couple to the first and second terminal to transmit a signal onto the current path or receive a signal from the current path responsive to the parameter of the coupling circuit and a level of current in the current path sensed by the sensor.

    摘要: The technology provides for a power line communication system capable of providing data from a first device to a second device over a power line. The first device may include a set of contacts and a second device may include a second set of contacts. The second set of contacts may be adapted to electronically engage with the first set of contacts of the first device to form at least a power and ground lines connection. Circuitry within the first device and the second device may include circuitry for providing data over the power line connection between the first device and the second device. The circuitry may comprise a power line, a ground line, a transmitter line carrying data signals, a capacitor coupling the transmitter line to the power line at a connection point, and a receiver comprising two field effect transistors.

    摘要: A radiofrequency (RF) wireline communications system includes an interference filter for filtering interference noise at a cable interface that couples a cable of the system to functional circuitry. The interference filter includes a first termination resistance element coupled between a first cable conductor and a system ground, and a first termination reactance element coupled to the first termination resistance element. The first termination reactance element has a first termination reactance value selected to direct signals on the first cable conductor, having predetermined frequency characteristics, away from the system ground, and the first termination resistance element has a first termination resistance value selected as a pull-down resistance for interference signals having other than the predetermined frequency characteristics, that are not directed by the first termination reactance element away from the system ground, to cause the interference signals, having other than the predetermined frequency characteristics, to propagate to the system ground.
