    Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for equipment reading in a factory or plant environment are described, including: capturing an image of an environment including a measurement device; detecting a target region included in the image, the target region including at least a portion of the measurement device; determining identification information associated with the measurement device based on detecting the target region; and extracting measurement information associated with the measurement device based on detecting the target region. In some aspects, detecting the target region may include: providing the image to a machine learning network; and receiving an output from the machine learning network in response to the machine learning network processing the image based on a detection model, the output including the target region.

    Abstract: A measurement apparatus includes a vaporization chamber in which a sample containing a target component is placed, a measurement chamber that is spatially connected to the vaporization chamber and forms enclosed space integrally with the vaporization chamber, a light source that applies, to the measurement chamber, laser light whose wavelength varies, a detector that detects the laser light having been applied from the light source and having passed through the measurement chamber, and an arithmetic unit that calculates the amount of the target component contained in the sample by analyzing a light-receiving signal of the laser light detected by the detector. The arithmetic unit acquires the amount of the target component, based on an integral value of a spectrum of absorbance of the laser light that is absorbed by the target component while the laser light passes through an interior of the measurement chamber.

    Abstract: An information providing apparatus 10 according to one embodiment includes an acquisition unit 141, a calculation unit 142, and a providing unit 143. The acquisition unit 141 acquires a thickness measurement value of each of portions of paper and a moisture percentage measurement value of each of the portions of the paper before or after a pressing process of pressing each of the portions of the paper with a different pressing force by using a roll based on an index that is provided. The calculation unit 142 calculates an estimated value of a thickness of the paper after a moisture percentage of the paper has changed, based on the thickness measurement value and the moisture percentage measurement value. The providing unit 143 provides the estimated value as the index to an apparatus that performs the pressing process.
