摘要: A fire detection device includes a gas sensor, a measuring instrument, and a control device. The gas sensor is configured to detect a gaseous substance in a measurement space. The gas sensor is configured to output a first result of the detection. The measuring instrument is configured to measure a diameter of each particle existing in the measurement space and count a number of particles for each of diameter ranges to generate distribution data. The control device includes a processor. The processor is configured to determine, on basis of the first result acquired from the gas sensor, whether a smoke exists in the measurement space. The processor is configured to start the measuring instrument upon determining that a smoke exists in the measurement space. The processor is configured to determine, on basis of first distribution data acquired from the measuring instrument, whether a fire has occurred.

摘要: The present disclosure relates to fire detectors. Teachings thereof may be embodied in an optical smoke detector. For example, a fire detector may include: a housing with a smoke inlet opening; a detection unit for detection of specific fire parameters; an analyzing unit for output of a fire alarm; a light transmitter; and a light receiver connected to the analyzing unit for monitoring the smoke inlet opening for impermissible pollution. The light transmitter and the light receiver comprise a scattered light arrangement with a scattered light volume in a region of the smoke inlet opening susceptible to pollution. The light transmitter may be oriented so a part of the light bundle traverses the region without striking adjacent housing parts, or a part of the light bundle strikes a housing part and a surface of the housing part deflects the second part of the light bundle away from the light receiver or absorbs the second part of the light bundle. The analyzing unit sends a service message if the scattered light detected by the light receiver exceeds a threshold value.

摘要: Various apparatus and methods for smoke detection are disclosed. In one embodiment, a method of training a classifier for a smoke detector comprises inputting sensor data from a plurality of tests into a processor. The sensor data is processed to generate derived signal data corresponding to the test data for respective tests. The derived signal data is assigned into categories comprising at least one fire group and at least one non-fire group. Linear discriminant analysis (LDA) training is performed by the processor. The derived signal data and the assigned categories for the derived signal data are inputs to the LDA training. The output of the LDA training is stored in a computer readable medium, such as in a smoke detector that uses LDA to determine, based on the training, whether present conditions indicate the existence of a fire.

摘要: An active protection system for protecting an object includes a first lens, a second lens, a processing unit and an alarm unit. The first lens is configured to receive first light and generate a first image. The second lens is configured to receive second light and generate a second image. The processing unit is configured to obtain a characteristic value of the object from the second image, determine whether the characteristic value reaches a pre-set value, and judge whether the object is regulated in a predetermined period after the characteristic value reaches the pre-set value. The alarm unit is configured to raise an alarm under control of the processing unit if the object is not regulated in the predetermined period after the characteristic value reaches the pre-set value.
