摘要: The present disclosure includes methods, devices and systems for establishing a connection between a medical device and a remote computing device, receiving an upgrade command at the medical device, storing a current version of persistent data and a current version of executable code in a first storage area of the medical device, transmitting at least the current version of the persistent data to the remote computing device, receiving a second format of the current version of the persistent data and an upgraded version of executable code at the medical device, storing the second format of the current version of the persistent data and the upgraded version of the executable code in a second storage area of the medical device, and executing the upgraded version of the executable code with the second format of the current version of the persistent data.

摘要: A gunshot detection system includes gunshot sensor units with microphones for detecting gunshots and capturing audio data depicting the detected gunshots and other ambient sounds, an environmental board with various environmental sensors for generating environmental data indicating environmental conditions. The audio data, environmental data, and position information can be stored locally on local nonvolatile storage of the gunshot sensor unit for later retrieval by law enforcement entities. In one embodiment, the gunshot sensor units include a wired and/or wireless data transfer interface for transferring the audio data, environmental data and/or position information to handheld units of law enforcement entities. The gunshot sensor unit can also stream live captured audio data for live monitoring by a control panel, and might also include speakers for providing audio playback of audio data from the control panel.

摘要: A gunshot detection system detects shooting events within a premises and interacts with building management systems installed within the same premises to guide occupants to safety and/or obstruct or trap an active shooter. Gunshot sensor units detect the gunshots and generate event information based on the detected gunshots. A shooting event response module generates and sends building management instructions to the building management systems. In response, distributed devices of the building management systems perform effect changes within the premises according to the functionality of the distributed devices (e.g. locking/unlocking doors, turning off lights, flashing strobe lights). A control panel of the gunshot detection system presents a graphical user interface for presenting response options and receiving selections of response actions to be performed by the building management systems. The shooting even response module also receives gunshot and building management event data and generates recommendation information based on the event data.

摘要: Configuring motion detection by a security device. The security device includes a camera configured to capture images of an environment in front of the security device and a motion sensor for detecting motion within the environment. The system also includes a server and a client device that are interconnected by a network. An AI learning module interacts with a user of the client device to capture an image of the user within the environment in front of the security device, and determines parameters for the motion sensor based upon analysis of the image to determine a location of an exempt area relative to the security device. The motion detector is configured based upon the determined parameters.

摘要: Examples of systems and methods for locating movable objects such as carts (e.g., shopping carts) are disclosed. Such systems and methods can use dead reckoning techniques to estimate the current position of the movable object. Various techniques for improving accuracy of position estimates are disclosed, including compensation for various error sources involving the use of magnetometer and accelerometer, and using vibration analysis to derive wheel rotation rates. Also disclosed are various techniques to utilize characteristics of the operating environment in conjunction with or in lieu of dead reckoning techniques, including characteristic of environment such as ground texture, availability of signals from radio frequency (RF) transmitters including precision fix sources. Such systems and methods can be applied in both indoor and outdoor settings and in retail or warehouse settings.

One device includes an adjustable particle generator and a variable airflow generator configured to generate an aerosol density level, an optical scatter chamber configured to measure a rate at which the aerosol density level decreases after the aerosol density level has been generated, and a controller configured to compare the measured rate at which the aerosol density level decreases with a baseline rate, and determine whether the self-testing fire sensing device requires maintenance based on the comparison of the measured rate at which the aerosol density level decreases and the baseline rate.

摘要: A gunshot detection system continually monitors ambient noise throughout a building, learns the building's auditory patterns, and alerts users when sounds are found to be unusual or generally indicative of a dangerous situation. For example, gunshot sensor units positioned throughout the building include microphones. During a learning period (e.g. during normal conditions), these microphones capture ambient noise. The gunshot detection system generates ambient noise models representing the ambient noise during the normal conditions. The gunshot detection system then continually processes currently captured audio data depicting ambient noise (and potential acoustic anomalies) against the ambient noise models to detect and/or identify the acoustic anomalies and to determine whether to generate an alert.

摘要: A server system can receive an assertion of an alarm condition from a security system that processes sensor signals from sensors and that triggers the alarm condition. The server system is can send messages to determined nearby sensors to start sending data back to the server system according to the alarm condition. The server system can analyze sensor data received from the sensors. The analysis includes a verification of the alarm condition, a determination of how often queried data is requested, and a determination of which of selected data received from selected sensors to forward to one or more mixed reality devices. The server system can forward data to the one or more mixed reality.
