Abstract: Techniques are described herein for dynamic service extension to provide risk mitigation upon detecting a threat. In embodiments, such techniques may be performed by a service provider platform and may comprise receiving information about a security threat, identifying one or more components susceptible to the security threat, determining, based on a software bill of materials, at least one data flow that includes a point of delivery (pod) associated with the one or more components, identifying at least one additional service determined to mitigate the security threat, and implementing the at least one additional service in relation to the at least one data flow.

Abstract: Methods, systems, and computer-readable media are disclosed herein that utilizes historical changes made to files and methods in computer programming code to predict related files and methods that may be affected by current and/or future changes made to other files and methods. In aspects, when computer code for a particular method is going to be edited, other methods are identified that were changed in previous editing sessions that also included changes to the particular method. Using scoring techniques for the other methods, a recommendation is provided that details the relative strength of whether the other methods are predicted to be affected by any changes made to the computer code for the particular method that is edited.

Abstract: An in-vehicle system enables retrofitted hardware to be used in cases in which predetermined hardware has been connected to an in-vehicle unit by performing processing to obtain an application corresponding to the predetermined hardware from a server and install the application in the in-vehicle unit. In cases in which the retrofitted hardware has been disconnected from the in-vehicle unit, the in-vehicle system also performs at least one type of processing out of processing to compress or processing to delete the application corresponding to the retrofitted hardware that has been disconnected.

Abstract: Systems, computer program products, and methods are described herein for evaluating, validating, and implementing software release change requests to a system environment based on artificial intelligence input. The present invention may be configured to receive a software release change request including a change to be made to a configuration item of a system environment, determine, based on a change inference database, potential failure points associated with deploying the software release change request in the system environment, and determine, based on the potential failure points, a confidence score for the change using a cognitive release evaluation system module comprising an artificial intelligent or machine learning engine.

Abstract: A method for fetching a content from a web server to a client device is disclosed, using tunnel devices serving as intermediate devices. The tunnel device is selected based on an attribute, such as IP Geolocation. A tunnel bank server stores a list of available tunnels that may be used, associated with values of various attribute types. The tunnel devices initiate communication with the tunnel bank server, and stays connected to it, for allowing a communication session initiated by the tunnel bank server. Upon receiving a request from a client to a content and for specific attribute types and values, a tunnel is selected by the tunnel bank server, and is used as a tunnel for retrieving the required content from the web server, using standard protocol such as SOCKS, WebSocket or HTTP Proxy. The client only communicates with a super proxy server that manages the content fetching scheme.

Abstract: In some implementations, a system may receive, from a software repository, a difference file indicating changes, to software code, that was submitted to the software repository. The system may parse the difference file to determine files, associated with the software code, affected by the changes and to determine content associated with the changes. The system may apply rules, from a rule dictionary, based on comparing identifiers, associated with the files, with identifiers included in the rules and based on comparing the content, associated with the changes, with content included in the rules. The system may generate software review checklist items based on applying the rules and output the software review checklist items for display. The system may receive, based on input from a user, confirmation of the changes and commit the changes to the software repository based on the confirmation.

Abstract: A multi-tenant system receives a request to build a software artifact for deploying on one or more target datacenter entities of the datacenter configured on the could platform. A software artifact comprises executable instructions associated with a service configured for execution on one or more cloud platforms. The system generates a release configuration that includes reusable release components and is used as a template by the release orchestration system to orchestrate release of the software artifact. The release configuration may specify one or more stagger groups, or a group of target datacenter entities that can be rolled-out in parallel.

Abstract: A logging system for an orchestration system that implements a rollout service to deploy updates to a cloud service includes: an orchestrator service host computer hosting the rollout service; a service bus connecting the orchestrator service host computer with a network on which the cloud service is provided; and a database to which the rollout service records a log of a deployment of an update, the log comprising an entry for each of a number of subsets of network components supporting the cloud service. Each record in the log refers to a payload version deployed to a corresponding subset of the network components supporting the cloud service. In response to detection of an issue with the deployment of the update in a particular subset of the network components, the rollout service retains a record in the log of each payload version deployed by changing a payload version number to be negative in each record of the log prior to a restart of the deployment back to an earlier subset of the network components with a new payload version to avoid the issue.
