摘要: Example techniques related to a sub-index of a media index. An example implementation may involve maintaining, on a mobile device, a first index of audio tracks associated with a particular user profile, the audio tracks indexed in the first index consisting of a particular subset of audio tracks that are indexed in a second index. Based on receiving the input data indicating the search query, the mobile device searches, within the first index, for audio tracks corresponding to the search query. If the audio tracks corresponding to the search query are not found in the first index, the mobile device sends to one or more servers of the cloud service, a request to search the second index for audio tracks corresponding to the search query.

摘要: Media content can be created and/or modified using a network-accessible platform. Scripts for content-based experiences could be readily created using one or more interfaces generated by the network-accessible platform. For example, a script for a content-based experience could be created using an interface that permits triggers to be inserted directly into the script. Interface(s) may also allow different media formats to be easily aligned for post-processing. For example, a transcript and an audio file may be dynamically aligned so that the network-accessible platform can globally reflect changes made to either item. User feedback may also be presented directly on the interface(s) so that modifications can be made based on actual user experiences.

摘要: A gunshot detection system includes gunshot sensor units and a control panel. The gunshot sensor units generate audio data and encrypt the audio data using an encryption key before storing the audio data and/or sending it to the control panel. The control panel decrypts received encrypted audio data using a decryption key. The encryption keys might be programmed at the control panel and distributed to the gunshot sensor units. The control panel would also store decryption keys for decrypting the audio data from each of the different gunshot sensor units. An additional layer of end-to-end encryption is provided for messages exchanged between the devices. The gunshot sensor units can also be equipped with wireless interfaces for communicating with the control panel over a communication network. To address potential bandwidth issues, the gunshot sensor units determine current network conditions and compress the audio data based on the current network conditions.

The hearing aid system includes: a processor connected to the microphones, and a database Θ having a multitude of dictionaries Δp, p=1, . . . , P, where p is a person index, of vectors, termed ATF-vectors, whose elements ATFm, m=1, . . . , M, are frequency dependent acoustic transfer functions representing direction- or location-dependent, and frequency dependent propagation of sound. The processor is configured to, at least in a learning mode of operation, determine personalized ATF-vectors based on the multitude of dictionaries Δp, the electric input signals, and the model of the acoustic propagation channels.

A correspondence is determined between the extracted biometric data and stored biometric data associated with a consenting user profile, where a consenting user profile is a user profile indicates consent to store biometric data. If no correspondence is determined, the speech data is discarded, optionally after having been processed.

The memory may have a fixed maximum capacity. The control system can further include one or more ports to receive signals corresponding to events for the valve or other flow control device. The processor device can be configured to execute operations that include: over a time interval, counting a quantity of events of a first type, corresponding to the signals received at the one or more ports, and after the time interval, storing in the memory a record of the first type of event over the time interval, based on the counted quantity.
