摘要: Embodiments relate generally to systems and methods for gas detection. A method may comprise operating a gas detector with a first alarm setting comprising a first predefined threshold; receiving sensed data of oxygen content in the ambient air; when the sensed data is below the first predefined threshold, activating an alarm; generating an acknowledgement request asking if the gas detector has entered an inert work zone; receiving a response from the user acknowledging that the gas detector has entered an inert work zone; deactivating the alarm; changing the alarm settings of the gas detector to a second alarm setting comprising a second predefined threshold; continuing to receive sensed data of oxygen content in the ambient air; when the sensed data is above the second predefined threshold, activating an alarm; and generating an acknowledgement request for the user asking if the gas detector has entered a normal operation work zone.

摘要: Techniques are described for detecting and handling unauthenticated commands in a property monitoring system. In some implementations, a monitoring system may include sensors located throughout a property, a monitoring control unit, and an input device. The monitoring control unit may be configured to receive data collected by the sensors, as well as an input command detected by the input device. For an input command that does not include authentication information, the monitoring control unit may generate property state information based on the sensor data, then analyze the property state data and the input command against one or more rules that relate to authorization of unauthenticated commands. Based on the analysis, the monitoring control unit may determine whether to perform the action corresponding to the input command or whether to perform another action, for example, generating and providing a notification or authorization request to a user.

摘要: A server acts as an event analyzer for a home security or monitoring system. The server receives a signal from a remote third-party server, the signal including data relating to a condition detected by a device at a premises. The server determines whether the remote third-party server corresponds to a preexisting third-party server registration. The server determines whether the device corresponds to a preexisting device registration. When the remote third-party server is determined to correspond to the preexisting third-party server registration and the device is determined to correspond to the preexisting device registration, the server determines whether the condition detected by the device at the premises is an alarm condition. When the condition detected by the device at the premises is determined to be the alarm condition, the server transmits an alarm signal to a central monitoring station.

摘要: A server-based environment for reporting a status of a security, monitoring and automation controller is provided. Detecting cessation of an always-on persistent network connection between the SMA controller and the server is also provided. Reporting the cessation of the network connection to an end user and defined others is further provided. A further aspect provides for automatically reporting an alarm event to a central station, the end user, and others, in the event the cessation of the network connection occurs while the SMA controller is aimed and after a zone fault event, and not receiving a disarm notification prior to expiration of a preset entry delay.

摘要: A single platform for controller functionality for each of security, monitoring and automation, as well as providing a capacity to function as a bidirectional Internet gateway, is provided. Embodiments of the present invention provide such functionality by virtue of a configurable architecture that enables a user to adapt the system for the user's specific needs. Embodiments of the present invention further provide such functionality by providing for installation of removable, modular communication adapters for communication with a variety of devices external to the security, monitoring and automation controller.

摘要: Devices, methods, and systems for infrastructure-less indoor navigation in a fire control system are described herein. One device includes a non-transitory computer readable medium having computer readable instructions stored thereon that are executable by a processor to receive a location of each of a plurality of smoke detectors of a facility, display the location of each of the plurality of smoke detectors in a building information model (BIM) on a user interface, wherein each respective one of the displayed plurality of smoke detectors represents a different smoke detector of the plurality of smoke detectors of the facility, receive a selection of a first displayed smoke detector of the plurality of displayed smoke detectors representing a first smoke detector of the plurality of smoke detectors of the facility, and guide a user to the location of the first smoke detector of the facility responsive to receiving the selection.
