摘要: Video monitoring and alarm verification technology, in which a first connection is established between a first device and a camera located in a monitored property associated with a user of the first device and image data captured by the camera is received over the first connection and at the first device. A determination is made to establish a second connection with a second device that enables sharing of the received image data with the second device and, in response to the determination, the second connection is established between the first device and the second device. The received image data is shared with the second device over the second connection and the second device is restricted from directly accessing image data captured by the camera located in the monitored property.

In some implementations, a voltage measurement across at least two interface terminals of a thermostat that controls an HVAC system of a property is obtained. The voltage measurements are analyzed. A likely power cycling activity of a component of the HVAC system is determined based on analyzing the voltage measurements. Whether the HVAC system is operating properly is determined based on the likely power cycling activity of the component of the HVAC system. Data indicating whether the HVAC system is operating properly is generated and outputted based on determining whether the HVAC system is operating properly.

摘要: A circuit is described for powering a chime that outputs audio in response to detection of an entity by a video doorbell. The circuit includes a power source for generating a first signal. A first switch is coupled to the power source. The first switch is configured to provide, in response to the first signal, a first direct-current (DC) voltage signal during a first operating mode where the video doorbell receives an input that triggers actuation of the chime in response to detection of the entity. A second switch is coupled to the power source and the first switch. The second switch is configured to provide, in response to the first signal, a second DC voltage signal during a second operating mode where the chime outputs the audio in response to the input that triggers actuation of the chime in response to detection of the entity.

In one aspect, the monitoring system includes one or more sensors that are located throughout the property and that are configured to generate sensor data. The monitoring system further includes a drone that is configured to move throughout the property and generate additional sensor data. The monitoring system further includes a drone dock that is configured to receive the drone, wherein the drone is configured to continue generating the additional sensor data while the drone dock is receiving the drone. The monitoring system further includes a monitor control unit that is configured to receive the sensor data and the additional sensor data, analyze the sensor data and the additional sensor data, determine a status of the property, and provide, for output, data indicating the status of the property.
