摘要: An approach is provided for detecting road features. The approach, for example, involves receiving image data associated with one or more road features. The received image data may be associated with ground truth label data corresponding to the one or more road features. The approach further involves determining a set of shadowed regions from one or more images of the received image data. The approach further involves generating artificial shadow data based on the determined set of shadowed regions. The approach further involves augmenting the image data with the generated artificial shadow data by applying the generated artificial shadow data to the received image data. The approach further involves training a machine learning (ML) model based on the augmented image data and the ground truth label data. The ML model is trained to detect the one or more road features.

摘要: Camouflage detection systems and related techniques are provided to improve the detection of camouflaged targets, including targets employing active thermal camouflage techniques. A camouflage detection system includes an imaging system and a logic device configured to communicate with the imaging system and a supplemental sensor system. The imaging system includes an infrared imaging module configured to provide infrared and/or thermal image data of a scene including a camouflaged target. The logic device is configured to receive infrared image data and supplemental sensor data, determine an estimated target spatial profile, and determine one or more target profile anomalies based, at least in part, on the estimated target spatial profile.

摘要: In some examples, one or more processors of an aerial vehicle access a scan plan including a sequence of poses for the aerial vehicle to assume to capture, using the one or more image sensors, images of a scan target. A next pose of the scan plan is checked for obstructions, and based at least on detection of an obstruction, the one or more processors determine whether a backup pose is available for capturing an image of the targeted point orthogonally along a normal of the targeted point. Responsive to determining that the backup pose is unavailable for capturing an image of the targeted point orthogonally along the normal of the targeted point, image capture of the targeted point is performed at an oblique angle to the normal of the targeted point.

摘要: In some examples, one or more processors of an unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV), control a propulsion mechanism of the UAV to cause the UAV to navigate to a plurality of positions in relation to a scan target. Using one or more image sensors of the UAV, a first image of the scan target is captured from a first position of the plurality of positions, and a second image of the scan target is captured from a second position of the plurality of positions. A disparity is determined between the first image captured at the first position and the second image captured at the second position. A three-dimensional model corresponding to the scan target is determined based in part on the disparity determined between the first image and the second image.

The method includes: obtaining optical satellite images and synthetic aperture radar satellite images of an area to be monitored in a preset time period; determining a first target region in each optical satellite image, determining a water body type of a pixel in a second target region in the SAR satellite image corresponding to the first target region; determining water body types of pixels in other regions in the optical satellite image, the other regions being regions in the optical satellite image other than the first target region; and determining surface water distribution information of the area to be monitored in the preset time period according to the water body type of the pixel in the second target region and the water body types of the pixels in the other regions.

摘要: A method of determining a roadway map includes receiving an image from above a roadway. The method further includes generating a skeletonized map based on the received image, wherein the skeletonized map comprises a plurality of roads. The method includes identifying intersections based on joining of multiple roads of the plurality of roads in the skeletonized map. The method includes partitioning the skeletonized map based on the identified intersections, wherein partitioning the skeletonized map defines a roadway data set and an intersection data set. The method includes analyzing the roadway data set to determine a number of lanes in each roadway of the plurality of roads. The method further includes analyzing the intersection data set to lane connections in the identified intersections. The method further includes merging results of the analyzed road data set and the analyzed intersection data set to generate the roadway map.

摘要: A system for automatically identifying situations to withhold planogram incompliance notifications in a retail store is disclosed. The system has a processor that receives image data depicting products displayed on a store shelf from image sensors mounted in the retail store. The processor identifies a product type associated with the displayed products and determines a placement of products of that product type on the shelf. The processor accesses a planogram describing a desired placement of products and identifies, based on the planogram, a discrepancy between the determined placement of products and the desired placement of product. The processor determines whether a notice-override condition exists. If a notice-override condition exists, the processor, withholds issuance of a user-notification associated with the identified discrepancy. If a notice-override condition does not exist, the processor issues the user-notification associated with the identified discrepancy.
