摘要: An optical lens includes a lens substrate including a cyclic olefin copolymer, an optical film including a plurality of alternating first and second polymeric layers, and a bonding film disposed on, and bonding the optical film to, a major surface of the lens substrate. The bonding film causes an average peel force to separate the optical film from the lens substrate to be greater than about 100 g/in while maintaining for at least one outermost major surface of the optical film, a mean displacement surface roughness Sa of less than about 10 nm and a slope magnitude error of less than about 100 μrad, and/or lower and higher spatial frequency slope magnitude errors each less than about 100 μrad.

摘要: A suction method is provided as a method of performing, by using a suction collet, suction of a Fabry-Perot interference filter including: a substrate; a laminated structure that is provided on the substrate and that includes a main surface facing a side opposite to the substrate; and a thinned portion that is located outside the laminated structure when viewed in a direction intersecting the main surface and that is recessed to a side of the substrate with respect to the main surface, the method including: a first step of arranging the suction collet so as to face the main surface; a second step of bringing the suction collet into contact with the Fabry-Perot interference filter after the first step; and a third step of suctioning the Fabry-Perot interference filter by using the suction collet after the second step.

摘要: A head up display (HUD) with improved resistance to sunload for use in a vehicle comprising an image generating device, an LCD assembly, an optical bonding assembly, and a fold mirror, with specific design countermeasures to combat damage caused to an LCD by heat from sunlight. These include an OB glass and cold mirror film (CMF) as components of the optical bonding assembly, a hot mirror coating and a polarized film as components of the LCD assembly, and a cold mirror coating on the fold mirror. When sunlight enters the HUD, the cold mirror coating reflects only visible light towards the LCD. The hot mirror coating reflects infrared and ultraviolet wavelengths of light away from the LCD. The polarized film cuts p-polarized light. The OB glass and CMF increase the specific heat of the HUD. The HUD thereby reduces sunload that would otherwise damage the LCD due to heat stress.

摘要: A device for displaying information and for the contact-based, simultaneous capture of impressions of a plurality of blood-perfused skin regions of human autopodia, including: a placement surface for placing the autopodia, a display unit which is arranged below the placement surface and which has at least partially transparent display elements which are arranged in grid form and are individually controllable by a control unit, the display elements having display pixels which emit light in a direction of the placement surface. The device also includes optical sensor pixels which detect light incident on the sensor pixels. The sensor pixels may be arranged in a sensor layer arranged under the display unit viewed from direction of the contacting skin region or may be arranged in the display unit between the display elements. A cavity filter for angle selection is arranged in front of the optical sensor pixels.
