Abstract: A registration detection system realizes both substrate-by-substrate correction and highly accurate correction of an exposure process. Therefore, the registration detection system includes: the first detection apparatus installed on a pathway to a collection in a transport container of substrates taken out of the transport container, after passing at least an exposure process and a development process, registration-detects the substrates after passing the development process at multiple points; the second detection apparatus outside the pathway, and performing registration-detecting the substrates at more points than the first detection apparatus when the substrates after passing the first detection apparatus and collected in the transport container are taken out from the transport container again; and a generation unit (image processing parts of the aforementioned detection apparatuses) that generates compensation data for the exposure process based on detection results by the first detection apparatus and detection results by the second detection apparatus.

Abstract: A front camera for filming an area stretching forwards is disposed in a front portion of a vehicle. A side camera for filming an area stretching laterally and diagonally forwards is disposed in a lateral-left portion of the vehicle. An indicator display that can be visually recognized by a driver is disposed in a compartment of the vehicle. An amount of change in the direction of the vehicle, that is, a deflection angle of the vehicle is detected on the basis of a vehicle speed and a steering angle of a steering wheel, which have been detected by means of various sensors. After the indicator display has started displaying a lateral photo image filmed by the side camera, the photo image displayed by the indicator display is shifted from the lateral photo image filmed by the side camera to a front photo image filmed by the front camera if the deflection angle has reached a predetermined angle.

Abstract: A method of adjusting optical imaging system is provided to finely adjust arrangement of optical elements with sensitivity. Illumination light with a predetermined wavelength band is irradiated to an adjustment mark including first marks disposed at a first pitch and second marks disposed at a second pitch different from the first pitch. An image is captured according to light, of diffracted light emitted from the adjustment mark, passing through an aperture stop and reaching an image surface of the optical imaging system. A positional deviation between the first and second marks is calculated with symmetric/asymmetric property of luminance information. Based on respective positional deviations calculated while the wavelength band of illumination light is changed, arrangement of optical elements between a pupil plane and an aperture stop surface of the optical imaging system is finely adjusted, to correct imaging positional deviation of a pupil image on the aperture stop surface.

Abstract: A method of analyzing a nucleic acid fragment sample to judge whether the nucleic acid fragment sample is uncomplementary, partly complementary or complementary to a DNA fragment in its specific base sequence is conducted by the steps of: bringing an aqueous solution of the nucleic acid fragment sample into contact with a DNA chip having an electroconductive substrate and the DNA fragment fixed onto the substrate in the presence of an electrochemical thread intercalator; measuring an electric current flowing from or to the electroconductive substrate along the DNA fragment under application of a potential to the substrate; and comparing the electric current measured above with a referential electric current which is prepared employing a DNA chip equivalent to the above DNA chip, the intercalator, and an aqueous solution of a nucleic acid fragment which is complementary to the DNA fragment of the DNA chip.
