摘要: In some aspects, a radar device may receive a received signal comprising a reflected frequency modulated continuous wave (FMCW) radar signal and interference. The radar device may identify the reflected FMCW radar signal based at least in part on performing a phase based search procedure to facilitate removing the interference from the received signal. 摘要: Techniques and architectures for managing radar sensor processing chains. A first high-frequency radio signal is received with a first RF receiver in the plurality of RF sensor suites on a host platform. The received high-frequency radio signal is converted to a lower second frequency range. A chirplet transform is performed on the signal in the second frequency range. Stored relative location information for a second RF receiver in the plurality of RF sensor suites is retrieved. Radar waveform information corresponding to the second RF receiver in a processing stream corresponding to the first RF receiver is extracted by utilizing the retrieved information and results from the chirplet transform. A point cloud is generated based on the converted signal in the second frequency range and the extracted radar waveform information.

A transmission start timing of the second transmission signal is later than a transmission start timing of the first transmission signal. A part of the first transmission signal and a part of the second transmission signal are transmitted in a first period. A modulation frequency of the first transmission signal at a first timing included in the first period differs from a modulation frequency of the second transmission signal at the first timing.

The radar sensor circuit may receive a set of sensor data associated with a radar chirp signal. The radar sensor circuit may generate a set of range data associated with the set of sensor data, which may include first range data for a first range bin and second range data for a second range bin. The compression estimation circuit may determine a first compression ratio for the first range data and a second compression ratio for the second range data. The compression circuit may compress the first and second range data based on the first and second compression ratios respectively. The compressed first and second range data may be stored at the data storage circuit.

摘要: An electronically steerable phased array and switching network connected to an FMCW radar transceiver to enable a low-cost monopulse tracking system that covers a wide field of regard using electronic beam steering. In a first mode, beamformer integrated circuits (BFICs) at each element in the array are switched synchronously with transmit/receive (T/R) switches located at the subarray level. This allows the entire aperture to be switched between transmission and reception, enabling the FMCW radar transceiver to be operated in a pulsed configuration. In a second mode, a portion of the T/R switches at the subarray level and all of the connecting BFICs at the element level are fixed in either transmitting or receiving mode, allowing separate portions of the aperture to concurrently transmit or receive. The arrangement of transmitting and receiving subarrays can be dynamically reconfigured to allow for accurate bearing and azimuth estimation using alternating monopulse.

The digital signal may comprise a plurality of signal segments. The radar device may include a neural network comprising a plurality of layers to process the plurality of signal segments. Each layer of the plurality of layers may have one or more neurons. The plurality of layers may process the plurality of signal segments using weighting factors having values selected from a predetermined set of discrete values. At least one neuron in an output layer of the plurality of layers may provide an output value that indicates whether a respective signal segment or a sample, associated with the at least one neuron, is overlaid with an interfering signal.

According to one aspect, an imaging system includes an antenna array, a position capture system configured to generate position information indicative of locations of one of the antenna array and the target at the first and second moments in time, and wherein the one of the antenna array and the target move between the first and second moments in time, a transceiver configured to control the antenna array to emit electromagnetic energy towards the target and to generate an output that is indicative of the received electromagnetic energy, a data acquisition system configured to generate radar data, processing circuitry configured to process the position information and the radar data to generate image data regarding the target, and an interface configured to use the image data to generate visual images regarding the target.

Each of the pluralities of transmitters and receivers are arranged across a plurality of circuit chips. The multi-chip MIMO radar system includes a central processor configured to receive data from the plurality of circuit chips. The plurality of circuit chips generates sets of selected range, Doppler, and virtual receiver data. The central processor is operable to process the sets of selected range, Doppler, and virtual receiver data to produce selected range detection and angular resolvability of targets.
