摘要: A method for providing a signed video bitstream suitable for transcoding from a first video format into a second video format, the method comprising: obtaining first video data in a lossy first video format; reconstructing a video sequence from the first video data; encoding the reconstructed video sequence as second video data in a second video format; computing first fingerprints of the first video data and second fingerprints of the second video data; deriving a first bitstring from the first fingerprints and a second bitstring from the second fingerprints; and providing a signed video bitstream, which includes the first video data and signature units, each signature unit including a first digital signature of the derived first bitstring and second digital signature of the derived second bitstring.

摘要: Systems and methods for enhanced video encoding identify patterns in sequences of raw digital video frames to extract features and identify the type of content represented by the extracted features. The system simulates many outcomes of encoding the sequence of digital video frames by using various different encoding strategies to find the relative best encoding strategy for each sequence of frames. As the encoder processes video, it passes digital video frames to a modeling system which determines whether the video, or video having that same type of content, has been previously observed by the system. The system then selectively applies a saved encoding strategy that had been determined by the system to be particularly suitable for encoding the same sequence of video frames or that same type of content.

摘要: A method is provided for streaming transcoded HLS video from a video asset to allow a minimum startup delay time. A method includes pre-transcoding a first number of the HLS chunks. Then, once a request is received from a remote HLS client for the HLS video asset, transmitting a number of the pre-transcoded chunks to the remote HLS player. The pre-transcoded chunks are transmitted during a startup period until real-time transcoded chunks can be received and processed by the remote HLS player at a time position to allow seamless transition from the pre-transcoded chunks.

A particular content segment can include a plurality of versions, where each version includes a different formatting characteristic. For example, the plurality of versions can include a high bit rate version, a medium bitrate version, and a low bitrate version. The system can store one of the versions of the content segment. When a user requests the content segment in a version other than the stored version, the system can retrieve the stored version from storage, and can encode the version of the content segment to generate or replicate the requested version of the content segment.

摘要: An apparatus for encoding and decoding video receives a request to decode a current video frame. The apparatus determines whether encoding is within a threshold for a previous video frame. Additionally, the apparatus waits for the encoding to start if the encoding is within the threshold. Further, the apparatus provides a signal to begin encoding the current video frame. Also, the apparatus submits a decode workload to a graphics processor unit (GPU) for the current video frame. The apparatus additionally submits, in parallel with submitting the decode workload to the GPU, an encode workload to the GPU for the previous video frame.

The apparatus for decoding motion information in merge mode discloses the position of a merge mode candidate and the configuration of a candidate in order to predict motion information in merge mode efficiently. Furthermore, a merge candidate indicated by the merge index of a current block can be efficiently reconstructed irrespective of a network environment by adaptively generating a merge candidate based on the number of valid merge candidate.

An expected quality of a key part of the target video is acquired. The expected quality of the key part corresponds to an image quality of the key part in a transcoded target video after the target video is transcoded. A background prediction transcoding parameter of the target video is determined based on the background features and an expected quality of a background. The expected quality of the background corresponds to an overall image quality of the transcoded target video. A target transcoding parameter prediction value is determined based on the background features, the key part region features, and the background prediction transcoding parameter. The target video is transcoded according to the target transcoding parameter prediction value.
