摘要: An electronic apparatus performs a method of decoding video data. The method comprises: receiving, from a bitstream, a first control flag that indicates merge mode with motion vector difference (MMVD) is enabled for one or more coding units in a video sequence; receiving a first syntax from the video data that identifies a set of motion vector difference (MVD) offsets from a plurality sets of MVD offsets; receiving, a second control flag corresponding to a respective coding unit of the one or more coding units, which indicates the MMVD is applied to the coding unit; receiving a second syntax that selects an MVD offset from the identified set of MVD offsets, and a third syntax that selects an MVD direction; forming MVD based on the selected MVD offset and MVD direction; and reconstructing the coding unit by applying the formed MVD to generate motion vectors to the coding unit.

摘要: An electronic apparatus performs a method of decoding video data. One example video processing method includes performing a conversion between a video including a video block and a bitstream of the video according to a rule, wherein the rule specifies whether to include, in a slice header (SH), a first syntax element that indicates whether a transform skip based residual coding is disabled for a slice, and wherein the rule specifies that whether to include the first syntax element in the SH is selectively based on a second syntax element in a sequence parameter set (SPS) that indicates whether a TS mode is enabled for the video block.

摘要: An encoder includes circuitry and memory coupled to the circuitry. The circuitry, in operation, for each coefficient of a plurality of coefficients included in a block, determines a base level relating to Context-Based Adaptive Binary Arithmetic Coding (CABAC) for the coefficient, and encodes an absolute value of the coefficient. In determining the base level, when one or more flags are used in encoding the absolute value of the coefficient, the base level is determined to be a first value, and when one or more flags are not used in the encoding, the base level is determined to be a second value that is smaller than the first value. In encoding the absolute value of the coefficient, when one or more flags are not used, a rice parameter is determined based on the base level which is equal to the second value, and the coefficient is binarized using the rice parameter.

摘要: A first predictor is applied to an input image to generate first-stage predicted codewords approximating prediction target codewords of a prediction target image. Second-stage prediction target values are created by performing an inverse cascade operation on the prediction target codewords and the first-stage predicted codewords. A second predictor is applied to the input image to generate second-stage predicted values approximating the second-stage prediction target values. Multiple sets of cascade prediction coefficients are generated to comprise first and second sets of cascade prediction coefficients specifying the first and second predictors. The multiple sets of cascade prediction coefficients are encoded, in a video signal, as image metadata. The video signal is further encoded with the input image.
