Abstract:
In order to be able to easily check the state of foreign matter contained in oil regardless of an installation location, a device main body 10 having a housing chamber 11 in which oil is stored, a plug 20 attached to a bottom portion of the housing chamber 11 in a state where an end surface of a shaft portion 20a faces upward, a spacer member 30 formed by a transparent member and arranged on the plug 20 in such a manner that one end surface 30a faces an inside of the housing chamber 11; and an imaging unit 40 arranged on the plug 20, the imaging unit 40 imaging the inside of the housing chamber 11 via the spacer member 30 are provided.
Abstract:
A vibration control device for railroad vehicle includes an actuator with a cylinder coupled to a truck of a railroad vehicle, a piston, a rod coupled to the piston and a vehicle body, a rod-side chamber and a piston-side chamber in the cylinder, a tank, a first on-off valve disposed at an intermediate position of a first passage communicating between the rod-side chamber and the piston-side chamber, a second on-off valve disposed at an intermediate position of a second passage communicating between the piston-side chamber and the tank, and a pump for supplying fluid to the rod-side chamber. A warm-up operation of the actuator is performed by opening the first and second on-off valves and driving the pump after the vibration control device is started and before a transition is made to a normal control mode for suppressing the vibration of the vehicle body.
Abstract:
A hydraulic fluid sampler and a method for obtaining a hydraulic fluid sample includes a sample container holder configured to support a sample container mounted thereto in an inverted position and a non-inverted position. In the inverted position, the sample container holder is configured to flush the sample container with hydraulic fluid so as to flush away any contaminates that may be present. In the non-inverted position, the sample container holder is configured to fill the sample container with hydraulic fluid.
Abstract:
A hydraulic actuator comprising a hollow body (1, 3) defining a cylindrical cavity and a rod (5) which is mounted to slide within the body along a sliding axis between two end positions and which is integral with a piston sliding in a sealed manner within the cylindrical cavity in order to define two chambers (C1, C2). The rod defines an interior passage, connecting the two chambers, which has a valve (20) comprising a shut-off member (21) which is returned towards a seat (22) and closes the passage. The rod receives a push member (15, 26) which can move relative to the rod between a position apart from the shut-off member (21) and a position forcing the shut-off member to open. The push member is constrained, when the rod reaches the end of its stroke, by the push member engaging with a portion (3) of the hollow body.
Abstract:
A method for operating an oil control valve coupled to a cam phaser configured to adjust a position of at least one cam between hard stops, the oil control valve included in an internal combustion engine having an intake valve and/or an exhaust valve controlled via the cam phaser. The method including operating the oil control valve responsive to cam position feedback information, the oil control valve adjusted in a first relationship based on the feedback information and operating the oil control valve in a cleaning mode during select combustion conditions by abruptly switching the oil control valve between two states responsive to the cam position feedback information. The oil control valve adjusted in a second relationship based on the feedback information, the second relationship including more abrupt adjustment than the first relationship.
Abstract:
A hydraulic system for a work machine is operative to condition hydraulic fluid supplied by a pressure source when there is no demand on the pressure source for the hydraulic fluid by a hydraulic function of the work machine.
