    摘要: This narrow-hole electric discharge machine (100), which performs electric discharge machining by relatively moving a narrow-hole electrode (28) attached to a main spindle (114) and a workpiece (130) attached to a table (118), comprises: a positioning guide (16) which is attached to a guide arm (142) below the main spindle, through which the narrow-hole electrode is inserted such that a lower portion of the narrow-hole electrode is movable in the direction of an axis line (CL0), and which supports the narrow-hole electrode; and a power feeder (10) which is provided at a predetermined position directly above the positioning guide of the guide arm, comes into direct contact with the narrow-hole electrode movable in the axis line direction and feeds power to the narrow-hole electrode, wherein the distance from a power feed position to the tip of the positioning guide is constant regardless of the length of the narrow-hole electrode.

    摘要: A follow-up swing head type large taper wire cutting device is disclosed. In the large taper wire cutting device, swing heads on upper and lower mechanical arms are adjusted in a follow-up way by swing head rotating mechanisms in coordination with a cutting taper, universal wire guide wheels are used to cooperate with the corresponding upper and lower swing heads, and tensioning mechanisms between the universal wire guide wheels and directional wire guide wheels are used for transition to ensure the smooth transition of an electrode wire, so that the electrode wire is effectively prevented from sliding off during large taper cutting, and the control of the follow-up deflection position of the electrode wire is also very accurate.

    摘要: An electric discharge machine includes an electrode, a shaft-feed driving unit that, a voltage/current applying unit, a shaft-feed control unit that causes the shaft-feed driving unit to perform a jump operation, and a machining-condition setting and changing unit that sets a voltage applied between the electrode and a workpiece and an electric current flowing between the electrode and the workpiece. The machining-condition setting and changing unit determines whether the electric discharge between the electrode and the workpiece stabilizes after the jump operation ends and, in at least a part of a period before determining that the electric discharge stabilizes, sets at least one of the voltage and the electric current to a condition in which electric discharge more easily occurs than in the condition in applying the electric discharge machining.

The first electrode defines a plurality of liquid collecting grooves spaced from each other. Each liquid collecting grooves defines a plurality of second through holes. At least one liquid collecting groove is connected to the pump, and the other liquid collecting grooves are connected to the vacuum pump. The portion of the second electrode can be inserted into and depart from the second through holes.

    摘要: A wire electric discharge machining apparatus is provided to equip with an automatic wire threader more reliably threading a wire electrode through an start hole. The wire electric discharge machining apparatus includes an automatic wire threader including: a feed roller disposed higher than the start hole and feeding a wire electrode toward the start hole; and a vertical drive device disposed between the feed roller and the start hole, and supplying compressed air in the upward and downward directions to vertically move the wire electrode slightly. The vertical drive device includes wire guides having guide holes through which the wire electrode is passed. The wire guides are constructed so that upward movement by the compressed air is possible.
