摘要: Provided are a near infrared absorbing fine particle dispersion liquid having an absorption ability in a near infrared region, a clear contrast, and applicable to offset printing, and a method for producing the same, an anti-counterfeit ink composition using the near infrared absorbing fine particle dispersion liquid and an anti-counterfeit printed matter using near infrared absorbing fine particles. Also provided are a near infrared absorbing fine particle dispersion liquid containing a solvent of one or more kinds selected from vegetable oils or vegetable oil-derived compounds; near infrared absorbing fine particles in an amount of 2 mass % or more and 25 mass % or less, selected from one or more kinds of hexaboride fine particles expressed by a general formula XBa (wherein element X is at least one or more kinds selected from a group consisting of La, Ce, Pr, Nd, Gd, Tb, Dy, Ho, Y, Sm, Eu, Er, Tm, Yb, Lu, Sr, and Ca, satisfying 4.0≦a≦6.2); and a dispersant soluble in the solvent and having a fatty acid in its structure, wherein viscosity is 180 mPa/S or less, and an anti-counterfeit ink composition containing the near infrared absorbing fine particle dispersion liquid. Also provided is an anti-counterfeit printed matter excellent in anti-counterfeit effect due to the printed matter containing the near infrared absorbing fine particles.

摘要: The invention relates to a process for the isolation of levulinic acid from an organic solution, comprising washing said organic solution with an alkaline aqueous stream to yield a washed organic solution; subjecting the washed organic solution to a distillation to yield a distillate and a distillation residue; and recovering levulinic acid from the distillate or the residue. This process may result in high yields of levulinic acid.

摘要: An object is to provide dispersion containing lipid peptide type compound useful as low molecular weight gelator, such as lipid dipeptide and lipid tripeptide, and dissolution accelerator capable of dissolving the lipid peptide type compound at lower temperature and more easily. It is also an object to provide dispersion that can form hydrogel by simpler method and under milder condition (low temperature) and from which gel can be obtained as gel having high thermal stability, and provide method for forming the gel. Dispersion including: a lipid peptide type compound in which peptide portion formed by repetition of at least two or more identical or different amino acids is bonded to lipid portion including C10-24 aliphatic group; dissolution accelerator having, in molecules thereof, hydrophilic portion and hydrophobic portion, the hydrophilic portion having betaine structure; and water; and method for producing hydrogel by use of the dispersion.

摘要: A novel sulfonium salt having high sensitivity with respect to active energy rays, a photoacid generator including the sulfonium salt, and a photosensitive composition containing the photoacid generator. The sulfonium salt is represented by formula (a1). In the formula, R1 and R2 each independently represent the group that is represented by formula (a2) or an alkyl group that may be substituted by a halogen atom, R1 and R2 are bonded to each other and may form a ring with the sulfur atom within the formula, R3 is the group represented by formula (a3) or the group represented by formula (a4), A1 represents S or the like, X− represents a monovalent anion, and R1 and R2 are not both an alkyl group which may be substituted with a halogen atom. In formulas (a2) to (a4), the ring Z1 represents an aromatic hydrocarbon ring, R4, R6, R9, and R10 each represents a specific monovalent group, R5, R7, and R8 each represents a specific divalent group, A2 and A3 each represents S or the like, m1 represents an integer of 0 or more, and n1 and n2 each represent 0 or more.

摘要: Methods and compositions are provided for synthesizing ionic liquids from lignin derived compounds comprising: contacting a starting material comprising lignin with a depolymerization agent to depolymerize the lignin and form a mixture of aldehyde containing compounds; contacting the mixture of aldehyde containing compounds with an amine under conditions suitable to convert the mixture of aldehyde containing compounds to a mixture of amine containing compounds; and contacting the mixture of amine containing compounds with an acid under conditions suitable to form an ammonium salt, thereby preparing the ionic liquid.
