When the prismatic battery case (3) is manufactured, a battery case material (8) punched into a predetermined shape undergoes deep drawing to form a first intermediate cup element (1) having a substantially elliptic cross section; the first intermediate cup element (1) undergoes redrawing successively in a plural stages to form a second intermediate cup element (2) having a substantially elliptic cross section which is smaller in minor-axis-diameter to major-axis-diameter ratio; and the second intermediate cup element (2) undergoes DI processing to form the prismatic battery case (3) having a substantially rectangular cross section wherein the thickness (A) of the shorter-side plate (3a) is made larger than the thickness (B) of the longer-side plate (3b).

An electric motor is operatively connected to the frame member and the ground engaging wheels for supplying rotational motion to the ground engaging wheels. A switch member is provided for selectively energizing the electric motor. An indicator member is provided for indicating to an operator that the electric vehicle has completed a preparing to start operation. The switch member may be a switch for operatively connecting the electric motor to a source of power. The indicator member may provide a visual display or an audible sound for warning the operator.

    摘要: An aqueous solution containing a new ferric ferrous salt Fe.sub.2 Cl.sub.5 and a method of producing the same are provided. Said aqueous solution contianing said Fe.sub.2 Cl.sub.5 may include both the aqueous solution of said Fe.sub.2 Cl.sub.5 and the aqueous mixture of said Fe.sub.2 Cl.sub.5 and a salt of alkali metals or a compound containing a metal which belongs to zinc family. A method of producing said Fe.sub.2 Cl.sub.5 comprises dissolving ferric chloride into aqueous solution of sodium hydroxide and then neutralizing said resulting aqueous solution by hydrochloric acid or dissolving ferrous sulfate into aqueous solution of hydrochloric acid, and a method of producing said aqueous mixture comprises adding said Fe.sub.2 Cl.sub.5 into an aqueous solution of strong acid and then adding a salt of alkali metals or a compound containing a metal which belongs to zinc family. Said aqueous solution containing said Fe.sub.2 Cl.sub.5 may be very useful in a wide variety of fields, such as water cleaning, keeping freshness of vegetation, antisepsis, antifungi, antibacteria, rust preventing, effluent treatment, soil improvement, ionization control, feed enriching, petroleum improvement, antistatic technique, and the like.

The invention brings a coefficient of thermal expansion of the support substrate close to that of the solid electrolytic layer, and prevents a reduction in the performance of the solid electrolyte caused by the diffusion of elements from the support substrate.
