The substrate includes a thin film transistor (TFT). The first insulation layer is disposed on the substrate. The first electrode is disposed on the first insulation layer and is electrically connected to the TFT. The liquid crystal layer is disposed on the first electrode. The second electrode is disposed on the liquid crystal layer and includes a first grid structure adjacent to the liquid crystal layer. The second insulation layer is disposed on the second electrode and includes a second grid structure. Therefore, the durability of the display panel may be increased and light leakage may be prevented.

The gate insulation pattern and the gate electrode overlap with the channel. The gate insulation pattern is disposed between the channel and the gate electrode. The source electrode and the drain electrode each include a fluorine deposition layer.
