摘要: According to one embodiment, a liquid crystal display device includes a first substrate including a first area and a second area, a second substrate opposing the first substrate but not opposing the second area, a sealing part which adheres the first substrate and the second substrate to each other, a liquid crystal layer located between the first substrate and the second substrate and surrounded by the sealing part, an alignment film disposed on the first substrate so as to be in contact with the liquid crystal layer and a terminal located in the second area and connected to an external circuit. In plan view, the alignment film includes an end located between the sealing part and the terminal.

摘要: An object of the present invention is to provide a method of manufacturing a liquid crystal alignment film which does not lose a function as a liquid crystal cell even in a case where three-dimensional formation is performed with a high degree of freedom, a method of manufacturing a three-dimensional liquid crystal cell using the method of manufacturing a liquid crystal alignment film, and a three-dimensional liquid crystal cell produced by the method of manufacturing a three-dimensional liquid crystal cell. A method of manufacturing a liquid crystal alignment film of the present invention includes a step of arranging a liquid crystal alignment agent to a heat-shrinkable film satisfying a heat shrinkage rate of 5% to 75%, and a step of drying the liquid crystal alignment agent arranged at 40° C. to 150° C. so as to form the liquid crystal alignment film.

摘要: A fabrication method of a display panel and a display panel, and a display device are provided. The display panel is divided into a display region and a non-display region and comprises a first substrate, and the non-display region of the first substrate includes an IC attaching region. The fabrication method comprises a thinning process. The thinning process includes: 1) forming a barrier layer insoluble to a thinning fluid in a region of a first surface of the first substrate of the display panel corresponding to the IC attaching region; 2) thinning the display panel by adopting the thinning fluid such that a thickness of the IC attaching region of the first substrate is greater than a thickness of the display region of the first substrate; and 3) removing the barrier layer.

摘要: A liquid crystal display device having an alignment layer stopper which is formed external to a display area to suppress the generation of an electric field between signal lines and the alignment layer stopper, wherein the alignment layer stopper includes a second conductive layer SP formed above the first substrate when the alignment layer stopper is formed by coating and a first conductive layer SH formed below the second conductive layer SP through an insulating film and arranged in such a manner that its marginal parts in the longitudinal direction of the second conductive layer SP are exposed when viewed from the plane direction from the second conductive layer SP, and the first conductive layer SH is formed in a thin film layer between signal lines arranged in the side parts of the display area and the second conductive layer SP.

摘要: A fabrication method of a display panel and a display panel, and a display device are provided. The display panel is divided into a display region and a non-display region and comprises a first substrate, and the non-display region of the first substrate includes an IC attaching region. The fabrication method comprises a thinning process. The thinning process includes: 1) forming a barrier layer insoluble to a thinning fluid in a region of a first surface of the first substrate of the display panel corresponding to the IC attaching region; 2) thinning the display panel by adopting the thinning fluid such that a thickness of the IC attaching region of the first substrate is greater than a thickness of the display region of the first substrate; and 3) removing the barrier layer. The display panel with regions having different thicknesses is formed by partially thinning, so that the display panel adapts to the attaching of the driver IC, ensures the strength of the display panel and realize the thinning of the display panel; and meanwhile, the thickness of the display region of the display panel is ensured, and defects such as light leakage and COG Mura are avoided.
