Abstract: Disclosed is a method of wireless communication. The method is performed at a first wireless node. The method comprises: obtaining a sequence of bits to be encoded, selecting a puncturing pattern from a plurality of puncturing patterns, generating, based on the sequence of bits to be encoded, a sequence of parity bits in accordance with a binary linear block coding scheme, puncturing, based on the selected puncturing pattern, at least one of the sequence of bits to be encoded or the sequence of parity bits, generating a plurality of modulation symbols based on remaining bits in the sequence of bits to be encoded and based on remaining bits in the sequence of parity bits, and transmitting, to a second wireless node, the plurality of modulation symbols.

Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. A base station may configure resources on a first communication link for scheduling requests and may transmit an indication of the configured resources over a second communication link to a first device. The first device may relay the indication of the configured resources to a second device via the first communication link. The second device may identify that resources on the first communication link are unavailable for a transmission and may transmit a scheduling request. The first device may receive the scheduling request. The first device may transmit, over the first communication link and based on the scheduling request, an indication of one or more shared channel resources configured by the base station for the transmission. The first device may receive, over the first communication link, the transmission over the one or more shared channel resources.

Abstract: A transmitting user equipment (UE) may perform resource hopping for a periodic sidelink resource reservation by scheduling a plurality of periodic sidelink resources with a first periodicity, the plurality of periodic sidelink resources being shifted at a first offset in a frequency domain. The transmitting UE may reduce persistent collisions of periodic or semi-persistent scheduling (SPS) reservation of the sidelink resources with another UE. The transmitting UE may transmit, to a receiving UE, sidelink control information (SCI) indicating the first offset and the plurality of sidelink transmissions via the plurality of periodic sidelink resources at the first periodicity based on the SCI. The receiving UE may receive, from the transmitting UE, the SCI and the plurality of sidelink transmissions via the plurality of periodic sidelink resources at the first periodicity based on the SCI.

Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. A first network coding device may determine to hand over retransmission of a packet (e.g., the task of retransmitting the packet) to a second network coding device, and the first network coding device may use the techniques described herein to perform the handover. In one aspect, the first network coding device may transmit a negative acknowledgment (NACK) to a user equipment (UE) that originally transmitted the packet, and the UE may transmit a request for any of one or more network coding devices to take over retransmission of the packet. Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. A target user equipment (UE) may receive an indication of a session key from an initiator UE in a sidelink communications system, from a network entity (e.g., a base station), or the like. In some cases, the target UE may also receive an indication of a nonce in a message of a PRS procedure. The target UE may select a positioning reference signal (PRS) sequence for the PRS procedure using the session key and optionally the nonce, such as by using a defined function at the target UE with the session key and the nonce as an input. Once the target UE selects the PRS sequence, the target UE may encode the PRS sequence and may transmit the PRS sequence to the initiator UE.

Abstract: A first user equipment (UE) can determine a slot, from a resource pool including a plurality of slots allocated for sidelink communications, for providing hybrid automatic repeat request (HARQ) feedback to a second UE via a sidelink channel. The determination may be based on a physical slot index or a logical slot index. The first UE may send the HARQ feedback on the sidelink channel in the slot, or refrain from sending the HARQ feedback, based on the determination. The first UE may determine the slot has a first slot index that is at least a preconfigured number of slots after a slot scheduled for sidelink data transmission having a second slot index.

Abstract: Aspects relate to time-interleaving of code block groups (CBGs) of a transport block. Some deployments can include configuring a downlink transmission to a scheduled entity that overlaps in time with an uplink transmission from the scheduled entity when the scheduled entity is operating in a full-duplex mode. CBGs may be time-interleaved to accommodate and/or mitigate interference between downlink and uplink transmissions. The modulation and coding scheme (MCS) of the transport block can further be adjusted to accommodate and/or mitigate interference between the downlink and uplink transmissions. Techniques discussed herein can be used at various nodes, components, and/or devices in a wireless network (e.g., UEs, BSs, CUs, RUs, DUs, etc.). Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described to support relayed sidelink communications. A first device and a base station may communicate via a communication link including a sidelink link between the first device and a second device and a relay link between the second device and the base station. The base station may determine restrictions for the communication link and transmit an indication of the restrictions over the relay link. The restrictions may differentiate data originating from the first device and the second device, restrict the first device to one or more resources, or associate logical channels at the first device with one or more transport block sizes and communication links. The second device may relay the indication of the restrictions to the first device. The first device, the second device, and the base station may communicate over the communication link according to the restrictions.

Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. A user equipment (UE) with multiple transmission reception points (TRPs) (e.g., a multi-TRP UE) may receive sidelink control information including an interference measurement configuration indicating resources allocated for sidelink interference measurements across multiple TRPs. In some cases, the multi-TRP UE may decode the sidelink control information including the interference measurement configuration. The multi-TRP UE may receive one or more signals from a first UE, a second UE, or both. The multi-TRP UE may perform a sidelink interference measurement for each signal based on the interference measurement configuration. The multi-TRP UE may determine whether to process the signals in combination or separately across TRPs based on the sidelink interference measurements.
