    Abstract: A method and apparatus for prioritization of sidelink and uplink. The apparatus compares priorities of a first group of transmission signals to determine a first signal from the first group of transmission signals having a highest priority. The first group of transmission signals comprise at least one uplink signal and at least one sidelink transmission signal. The apparatus compares a priority of the first signal from the first group of transmission signals against a reception signal having a highest priority of a second group of reception signals to determine to transmit at least the first signal from the first group of transmission signals or to receive at least one reception signal from the second group of reception signals. The second group of reception signals comprises at least one sidelink reception signal.

    Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. A UE may determine a set of resources available for transmission of one or more reference signals (e.g., one or more PRSs) in a shared radio frequency spectrum band (e.g., an unlicensed radio frequency spectrum band) in a time interval for sidelink positioning. The UE may transmit, in a second radio frequency spectrum, a control message reserving the set of resources for the UE to transmit the one or more reference signals in the time interval for sidelink positioning. The UE may transmit the one or more reference signals on the set of resources based on transmitting the control message reserving the set of resources.

    Abstract: Apparatus, methods, and computer-readable media for sidelink control information forwarding for sensing procedure are disclosed herein. An example method of wireless communication at a forwarding user equipment (UE) includes receiving, from a forwarded UE, control information, and transmitting, to a sensing UE, a forward message including the control information and information associated with the forwarded UE. An example method of wireless communication at the sensing UE includes receiving, from the forwarding UE, a forward message including the control information containing a first measurement of the control information. The example method also includes obtaining a second measurement of the forward message and determining a ratio of the second measurement to the first measurement. The example method also includes selecting a specific resource based on the ratio and whether the forwarding UE is an intended receiver for the sensing UE or the forwarding UE intends to receive from the forwarded UE.

    Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. In some systems, a user equipment (UE) may receive scheduling information that schedules an uplink data message over a high priority physical uplink shared channel (PUSCH) that overlaps in time with a physical uplink control channel (PUCCH) resource over which the UE is scheduled to transmit feedback associated with sidelink communication. The UE may receive signaling from a base station indicating whether the feedback associated with the sidelink communication can be multiplexed with the uplink data message on the high priority PUSCH. As such, the UE may multiplex the feedback associated with the sidelink communication on the high priority PUSCH if the signaling from the base station indicates that the feedback associated with the sidelink communication can be multiplexed with the uplink data message on the high priority PUSCH.

    Abstract: Aspects relate to techniques for MCS selection of a packet to be network coded for sidelink communication. A transmitting UE may encode a packet using an MCS that is greater than a normal MCS that may be used for encoding the packet without network coding. The transmitting UE may then transmit the encoded packet to one or more receiving UEs and a network coding device over a sidelink data channel. The transmitting UE may further transmit a network coding request flag associated with the packet to initiate one or more retransmissions of the packet by the network coding device.
