The method comprises: obtaining a sequence of bits to be encoded, selecting a puncturing pattern from a plurality of puncturing patterns, generating, based on the sequence of bits to be encoded, a sequence of parity bits in accordance with a binary linear block coding scheme, puncturing, based on the selected puncturing pattern, at least one of the sequence of bits to be encoded or the sequence of parity bits, generating a plurality of modulation symbols based on remaining bits in the sequence of bits to be encoded and based on remaining bits in the sequence of parity bits, and transmitting, to a second wireless node, the plurality of modulation symbols.

In some aspects, a user equipment (UE) may transmit an indication of a physical downlink control channel (PDCCH) monitoring capability that indicates an amount of time between two consecutive PDCCH monitoring windows, a number of slots to be included in a PDCCH monitoring window, and a number of consecutive symbols in a slot to be associated with PDCCH monitoring. The UE may receive a PDCCH monitoring configuration that is based at least in part on the PDCCH monitoring capability. Numerous other aspects are described.

For example, the at least one optimization may include modifying a channel state feedback procedure, reducing a periodicity associated with a measurement gap, modifying a filtering associated with measurements of the channel, reducing a threshold associated with beam switching, and/or refraining from performing at least one filtering at a radio frequency receiver of the wireless communication device. 摘要: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. In some systems, a transmitting device may perform a pre-distortion of a signal on a resource allocation for the signal and using discrete Fourier transform (DFT)-domain processing. For example, the transmitting device may perform a first frequency-domain (FD) to time-domain (TD) transform, which may be an example of an inverse DFT (IDFT), on a first set of FD symbols to obtain a first set of TD samples. A size of the first FD to TD transform may be based on the resource allocation for the signal. The transmitting device may perform a crest factor reduction (CFR) function on the first set of TD samples to pre-distort the signal in the TD (e.g., in the IDFT domain), which may enable the transmitting device to avoid out-of-band (OOB) emission or otherwise have greater control over where the pre-distortion contributes energy.

A user equipment (UE) may update a noise estimation (e.g., a noise covariance matrix, a log likelihood ratio (LLR) scaling, or both) for communications with a serving base station to account for interference from a neighboring base station operating according to a different radio access technology (RAT). For example, the UE may identify a transmission status of a base station operating according to a first RAT, such as long term evolution (LTE), that shares a radio frequency spectrum with a serving base station operating according to a second RAT, such as new radio (NR). The UE may measure the interference from the LTE base station and may update a noise estimation according to the measured interference. The UE and the serving base station may communicate based on the updated noise estimation.

A user equipment (UE) may receive an indication of a codebook type for transmitting hybrid automatic repeat request (HARQ) feedback by the UE to a second device (e.g., a network device, a satellite, or a base station). The indication of the codebook type may indicate a HARQ feedback transmission configuration, such as a static HARQ feedback transmission configuration. The HARQ transmission configuration may be associated with a one bit or two bit HARQ codebook. The UE may receive a scheduled downlink shared channel transmission, and attempt to decode the received downlink shared channel transmission. The UE may transmit (or refrain from transmitting) the HARQ feedback based on the decoding of the scheduled downlink shared channel transmission and in accordance with the feedback mode.

During decoding, a decoder assigns different bit types to channels instances by dividing a codeword into a plurality of groups and assigning bit types to channel instances of the plurality of groups using the base sequence.
