摘要: Methods, systems, and apparatus, including computer programs encoded on a computer storage medium, in which a commuter demand control system (CDCS) can obtain commuter profiles, and each profile can identify a commuter, an origin, a destination and commute preferences. The CDCS can determine from the commuter profiles batches of commuter profiles. The CDCS can determine, for a batch of commuter profiles, commute profiles, and each commute profile can correspond to a commuter profile in the batch of commuter profiles. The CDCS can provide the commute profiles. In addition, a traffic control system can obtain a commute profile for at least one commuter, and the commute profile can identify a commuter and an authorized time range. In response to determining that the commuter is authorized to traverse the traffic control device at the time point, the traffic control system can actuate the traffic control device.

摘要: This invention provides a system-oriented and fully-controlled connected automated vehicle highway system for various levels of connected and automated vehicles and highways. The system comprises one or more of: 1) a hierarchical traffic control network of Traffic Control Centers (TCC's), local traffic controller units (TCUs), 2) A RSU (Road Side Unit) network (with integrated functionalities of vehicle sensors, I2V communication to deliver control instructions), 3) OBU (On-Board Unit with sensor and V2I communication units) network embedded in connected and automated vehicles, and 4) wireless communication and security system with local and global connectivity. This system provides a safer, more reliable and more cost-effective solution by redistributing vehicle driving tasks to the hierarchical traffic control network and RSU network.

摘要: Disclosed is a “connectivity matrix” that wireless entities (vehicles, fixed assets, etc.) can display indicating the 5G/6G wireless address of the entity. Other wireless devices can then image the connectivity matrix, determine the wireless address, and then communicate in sidelink, on frequencies allocated for ad-hoc networking. Alternatively, the two entities can communicate through a local base station, on managed channels, using the displayed wireless address. The matrix can provide additional information, such as the frequency, bandwidth, and modulation scheme favored by the entity. Alternatively, the matrix can provide a key code maintained by a central authority, so that a second wireless entity can read the code and request the associated wireless address (and frequency, bandwidth, etc.) from the central authority. By either method, the two wireless entities can then communicate explicitly thereafter.

摘要: Methods, systems, and apparatus, including computer programs encoded on computer storage media, for allowing vehicles access or egress from a dedicated roadway. In some implementations, a system includes a server, an interface, and sensors. The interface receives data from a railroad system that manages a railroad running parallel to a first roadway. The sensors are positioned in a location relative to the first and second roadway. Each sensor can detect vehicles on the second roadway. For each detected vehicle, each sensor can generate first sensor data based on the detected vehicle and the data received at the interface. Second sensor data can be generated based on activities on the first roadway. Observational data can be generated based on the first and second sensor data. An instruction can be determined to allow the detected vehicle access to the first roadway. The instruction can be transmitted to the detected vehicle.

摘要: The system includes a server and an on-vehicle device of a vehicle. Methods include: receiving sensor data defining a trajectory; map-matching the sensor data using a map-matching algorithm to a plurality of road segments of a map database to generate a sequence of map-matched sensor data elements; determining a first value representing anonymization associated with a start of the trajectory; determining a second value representing anonymization associated with an end of the trajectory; determining first map-matched sensor data elements at the start of the trajectory to be redacted based on the first value; determining second map-matched sensor data elements at the end of the trajectory to be redacted based on the second value; and transmitting sensor data associated with elements in the sequence of map-matched sensor data elements between the first map-matched sensor data elements and the second map-matched sensor data elements.
