The service-providing network may include one or more virtual interface devices through which the connected network or device may access the Internet. The connected networks may utilize these virtual devices to communicate with the broader Internet to exchange data. For example, the connected networks may be associated with a common access point to the service providing network, such as an on-net building or other common location that utilizes the same device or devices to access the network to receive services from the network. In some implementations, the virtual network access devices may be instantiated on one or more network computing devices, such as an application server or other configurable computing and networking device.

The packet processing circuitry is connected to a network and is configured to process communication packets for communicating over the network. The packet processing circuitry includes a plurality of configuration registers for setting one or more operation parameters of the ND. The performance optimization circuitry is configured to improve a performance measure of the ND by iteratively calculating the performance measure and adjusting values of one or more of the configuration registers based on the performance measure.

摘要: Techniques are described to automatically activate and deactivate standby backup paths in response to changing bandwidth requirements in an adaptive private network (APN). The APN includes one or more regular active wide area network (WAN) links in an active mode and an on-demand WAN link in a standby mode. The on-demand WAN link is activated to supplement the conduit bandwidth when an available bandwidth of the conduit falls below a pre-specified trigger bandwidth threshold and the conduit bandwidth usage exceeds a usage threshold of a bandwidth of the conduit that is being supplied by the active paths (BWc). The on-demand WAN link is deactivated to standby mode when an available bandwidth of the conduit is above the pre-specified trigger bandwidth threshold and the conduit bandwidth usage drops below the usage threshold of BWc techniques for adaptive and active bandwidth testing of WAN links in an APN are also described.

摘要: A method for providing a piezoelectric device is described. The method includes providing a first electrode layer on a substrate and coating at least one layer of piezoelectric material. The coating using at least one of slot-die coating, dip coating, aerosol coating and R2R coating such that a layer of the at least one layer of piezoelectric material has a variation in thickness of not more than ten percent. The layer(s) of piezoelectric materials are also heat treated. Multiple layers of piezoelectric material may be slot-die coated and heat treated to provide a multilayer having the desired thickness. A second electrode layer is provided on the layer(s) of piezoelectric material.

The system provides provide at least a subset of the predicted outcomes as input to a machine learning model trained to identify a set of resolution actions. The system receives, from the machine learning model, the set of resolution actions for the subset of the predicted outcomes, wherein each resolution action in the set of resolution actions is associated with a probability of resolving at least one of the predicted outcomes in the subset of predicted outcomes. The system identifies a first resolution action from the set of resolution actions, wherein the first resolution action has a highest probability of resolving the at least one of the predicted outcomes in the subset of predicted outcomes. The system provides a first instruction to execute the first resolution action.

摘要: A method of using a proxy network to normalize online connections uses a global proxy network (GPN) to manage connections between a plurality of local proxy clients and a destination server. First, an optimization process is executed for the overall network connection between each local proxy client and the destination server. The latency of each optimized connection are then examined to determine a normalization point, which corresponds to the highest latency among the optimized connections. The rest of the connections are then adjusted to conform to the normalization point by adding latency to the connections to match the latency of the normalization point.

Based on this determination, the system can determine a subset of the computing devices that utilize the common network service provider, and transmit a set of configuration signals to the subset of computing devices. The set of configuration signals can modify a set of default application configurations of a designated application to compensate for the network latency.

Embodiments include deploying the one or more services in the network based on the one or more deployment rules.

Aspects discussed herein relate to monitoring and characterizing data flows with network and/or latency parameters, such as a time-to-buffer (TTB) parameter. Latency managers, network components, or other suitable devices operating in a communication network may utilize TTB parameter information as a management mechanism throughout the communication network to negotiate and schedule the delivery of data packets in view of a variety of factors, e.g., network performance, application priority, and the like. Such devices may be further configured to modify network or routing policies based on network performance and latency information obtained from and/or shared by various network components and devices in the communication network.
