摘要: Systems and methods of managing a Bluetooth SigMesh network involve a supervisor configured to monitor one or more network parameters of the SigMesh network, such as topology, message identity, transmit count, transmit interval, relay retransmit count, or relay retransmit interval. The supervisor determines whether one or more of the network parameters are to be adjusted for improving transmission efficiency, reducing traffic congestion, avoiding flooding of packets on the mesh network, or ensuring injection of packets in the SigMesh network. The supervisor provides feedback to one or more nodes with the adjusted network parameters to improve transmission efficiency and reduce traffic in the SigMesh network.

摘要: In a smartphone or a personal computer, when there is an application which performs communication which a user is unconscious of, a communication volume increases unintentionally, and there arise problems in that a maximum communication volume is exceed, a network bandwidth of a base station is compressed, or communication being intentionally performed is disturbed. In order to solve the above problems, provided is a communication control method used in a communication control device capable of performing communication using an application via a communication line, and includes an application control step of switching a plurality of applications between a foreground state and a background state and a communication control step of changing an allocation amount of a network bandwidth of an application in accordance with whether the switched application is in the foreground state or the background state.

摘要: Described is a method performed by a downloadable agent, the method comprising: collecting WAN performance information, wherein the downloadable agent is executable on a computing device coupled to a LAN of a broadband subscriber, wherein the LAN is coupled by another device to a WAN; and transmitting the WAN performance information to a machine; wherein the machine is operable to: store and analyze the performance information to generate an analysis result; and report the analysis result to at least one of the broadband subscriber and its service provider. Described is a corresponding system which comprises a database; and a server coupled to the database, the server operable to: receive WAN performance information from a downloadable agent; store the information in the database, analyze the information to generate an analysis result; and report the analysis result to at least one of the broadband subscriber and the broadband subscriber's service provider.

摘要: A method receives, from one or more subsystems, predicted outcomes associated with a device. The method provides provide at least a subset of the predicted outcomes as input to a machine learning model trained to identify a set of resolution actions. The method receives, from the machine learning model, the set of resolution actions for the subset of the predicted outcomes, wherein each resolution action in the set of resolution actions is associated with a probability of resolving at least one of the predicted outcomes in the subset of predicted outcomes. The method identifies a first resolution action from the set of resolution actions that has a highest probability of resolving the at least one of the predicted outcomes in the subset of predicted outcomes. The method identifies a root cause associated with the first resolution action. The method provides a first instruction to execute the first resolution action.

Aspects discussed herein relate to monitoring and characterizing data flows with network and/or latency parameters, such as a time-to-buffer (TTB) parameter. Latency managers, network components, or other suitable devices operating in a communication network may utilize TTB parameter information as a management mechanism throughout the communication network to negotiate and schedule the delivery of data packets in view of a variety of factors, e.g., network performance, application priority, and the like. Such devices may be further configured to modify network or routing policies based on network performance and latency information obtained from and/or shared by various network components and devices in the communication network.

Partial reconfigurations can be orders of magnitude faster than the initial full configuration, thus making it possible to consider performance-driven reconfigurations in lossless networks.

摘要: A system and method for inferring schematic and topological properties of an electrical distribution grid is provided. The system may include Remote Hubs, Subordinate Remotes, a Substation Receiver, and an associated Computing Platform and Concentrator. At least one intelligent edge transmitter, called a Remote Hub Edge Transmitter, may transmit messages on the electrical distribution grid by injecting a modulated current into a power main that supplies an electric meter. The Subordinate Remotes, Remote Hubs, the Substation Receiver, and the associated Computing Platform and Concentrator may contain processing units which execute stored instructions allowing each node in the network to implement methods for organizing the on-grid network and transmitting and receiving messages on the network. The Substation Receiver, Computing Platform and Concentrator may detect and infer schematic grid location attributes of the network and publish the detected and inferred attributes to other application systems including geospatial information systems maintaining the logical and physical network model.
