Abstract: A method for subscriber tier plan adjustment including: monitoring traffic flow for one or more subscriber of a plurality of subscribers on an operator's network; determining a bandwidth requirement for each of the one or more subscribers; determining a recommended tier plan for each subscriber based on the subscribers' bandwidth requirement; and providing the recommended tier plan for each of the subscribers to a network operator. A system for subscriber tier plan adjustment including: a learning module configured to monitor traffic flow for one or more subscribers of a plurality of subscribers on a network and determine a bandwidth requirement of each of the one or more subscribers; an analysis module configured to determine a recommended tier plan for each of the subscribers based on each subscriber's bandwidth requirement; and a notification module configured to provide the recommended tier plan for each subscriber.

Abstract: A service monitoring system receives receiving, via a user interface, an identification of a service of an information technology environment, and causes display of a plurality of key performance indicators (KPIs) in the user interface. Each KPI of the plurality of KPIs indicates a measure of performance for the service. The service monitoring system receives, via the user interface, an identification of a time period, and an identification of one or more visual characteristics for KPI graph lanes. Each of the KPI graph lanes is indicative of one or more KPI values of a respective KPI of the plurality of KPIs, the one or more KPI values are obtained from execution of a search query associated with the respective KPI, and the search query uses the time period to obtain the one or more KPI values. The service monitoring system causes display of a plurality of KPI graph lanes based on the one or more visual characteristics. Each graph lane provides a graphical visualization of the one or more KPI values of the respective KPI, and the display of the plurality of KPI graph lanes allows for visual correlation among the plurality of KPIs over the time period.

Abstract: The system obtains KPIs of the production RAN of the network and capabilities of multiple UEs interacting with the test RAN. The system creates a test case based on the KPIs and the capabilities of the multiple UEs interacting with the test RAN by: adjusting a type of traffic associated with the test RAN, adjusting traffic characteristics, and adjusting the capabilities of the multiple UEs interacting with the test RAN. The system runs a simulation of the test case interacting with the test RAN to obtain simulation KPIs. The system determines whether the simulation KPIs correspond to the KPIs associated with the production RAN. Upon determining that the simulation KPIs correspond to the KPIs of the production RAN, the system stores the test case in a database. Upon determining that the simulation KPIs do not correspond to the KPIs of the production RAN, the system adjusts the test case.

Abstract: Methods, systems, and computer readable media for link multiplexing and forwarding packets in a test environment are disclosed. One example method occurs at a network switch comprising a first plurality of ports and a second plurality of ports, wherein each of the first plurality of ports is connected to one of a plurality of traffic generators and each of the second plurality of ports is connected to a system under test (SUT). The method comprises receiving, by the network switch, test packets via the first plurality of ports, wherein a first portion of the test packets includes a first aggregation identifier associated with a first egress port of the second plurality of ports; and forwarding, using the first aggregation identifier and at least one corresponding egress forwarding rule, the first portion of the test packets via the first egress port toward the SUT.

Abstract: A machine selects a candidate data service to be tested for service quality. The machine performs a first-phase test of the candidate data service by providing predetermined input data to the candidate data service and measuring a first quality metric that results. The machine may determine that the candidate data service is to undergo the second-phase test based on the first quality metric, and the machine may accordingly perform the second-phase test of the candidate data service. The second-phase test may include: adding the candidate data service to a pool of five data services processing undetermined input data; routing a portion of the undetermined input data to the candidate data service; and measuring a second quality metric resultant from the candidate data service processing the routed portion. Based on the second quality metric, the machine may record whether the candidate data service is to remain in the pool.

Abstract: The disclosed systems, structures, and methods are directed to risk assessment of an optical network. A simulation framework includes a risk map engine including a performance prediction engine that generates a simulation of the optical network based at least in part on an input network topology and/or service map. The prediction performance engine runs the simulation to predict, based at least in part on received network telemetry data, direct and indirect impacts on the optical network of a risk factor represented in a what-if scenario. The risk map engine includes a risk assessment engine that determines a risk associated with the risk factor based at least in part on the predicted direct and indirect impacts and on a likelihood of occurrence of the risk factor. The risk assessment engine generates a risk map showing aggregate risks to the optical network from a plurality of risk factors.
