摘要: A method and system for communicating artificial intelligence (AI) tasks for a server chaining are presented. The method includes establishing a first connection between an AI client and a first AI server; encapsulating a request to process an AI task in at least one request data frame compliant with a communication protocol; and transporting the at least one request data frame over a network using a transport protocol over the first connection to the first AI server, wherein the first AI server spans the AI task over at least one second AI server, wherein the transport protocol provisions transport characteristics of the AI task and the transport protocol is different than the communication protocol, wherein AI task includes processing of a single compute graph thereby allow spanning the processing of the compute graph over one more AI servers.

摘要: A network interface controller (NIC) capable of efficient load balancing among the hardware engines is provided. The NIC can be equipped with a plurality of ordering control units (OCUs), a queue, a selection logic block, and an allocation logic block. The selection logic block can determine, from the plurality of OCUs, an OCU for a command from the queue, which can store one or more commands. The allocation logic block can then determine a selection setting for the OCU, select an egress queue for the command based on the selection setting, and send the command to the egress queue.

摘要: A data storage system includes a host, an adapter card, and a storage node. The host establishes a communication connection to the adapter card through a bus, and the storage node establishes a communication connection to the adapter card through a network. The storage node is configured to store data that the host requests to write into a first memory space. The first memory space is a storage space that is provided by the adapter card for the host and that supports memory semantic access. The adapter card writes the data into a second memory space of the storage node, where the adapter card includes a first correspondence between a physical address of the second memory space and an address of the first memory space.

摘要: A device is configured to detect a communication error between a first network device and a second network device. The device is further configured to identify a first node in a computer network map corresponding with the first network device and to identify node properties for the first node. Error correction instructions in the node properties for the first node include an address for rerouting data traffic to a third network device. The device is further configured to apply the error correction instructions where applying the error correction instructions suspends data traffic to the second network device and reroutes data traffic to the third network device.

摘要: A payload store within a database management system includes a first set of nodes that include a first node that includes memory, a network interface, a storage device, and at least one processing unit. The at least one processing unit is operable to receive, via the network interface, a first set of data rows that includes a plurality of subsets of data rows and a last subset of data rows. The processing module is further operable to randomly assign the plurality of subsets of data rows and the last subset of data rows between the first set of nodes, where a first number of data rows of the plurality of subsets of data rows is assigned to the first node and a second number of data rows is assigned to another node. The processing module is further operable to store the first number of data rows in the storage device.

摘要: Techniques for combining the functionality of fabric interconnects and switches (e.g., Top-of-Rack (ToR) switches) into one network entity, thereby reducing the number of devices in a fabric and complexity of communications in the fabric. By collapsing FI and ToR switch functionality into one network entity, server traffic may be directly forwarded by the ToR switch and an entire tier is now eliminated from the topology hierarchy which may improve the control, data, and management plane. Further, this disclosure describes techniques for dynamically managing the number of gateway proxies running on one or more computer clusters based on a number of managed switch domains.

An example system comprises a plurality of file access nodes including a control node, wherein the control node is configured to: receive a file access request initiated by a client, wherein the file access request comprises an identifier of a file, an identifier of a file storage service, and an access token associated with the file stored by the file storage service; request, using the access token, metadata associated with the file from the file storage service; define, using the metadata, a plurality of portions forming the file; and forward, to the plurality of file access nodes, identifiers of the plurality of portions.
