摘要: Provided is a turbo compressor including a compressed gas inlet through which a gas is sucked in, an impeller for compressing the gas introduced through the compressed gas inlet, a compressed gas outlet through which the gas compressed by the impeller is discharged to the outside, a compression unit including a compressed gas channel connected from the compressed gas inlet to the compressed gas outlet, a motor including a rotating shaft having an end coupled to the impeller, to rotate the impeller, a housing including a motor accommodation space for accommodating the motor, a cooling air channel provided to pass through the motor accommodation space and formed to circulate a cooling gas accommodated therein, a cooling water channel formed to circulate a cooling liquid capable of cooling the housing, and thrust bearings disposed at an end of the rotating shaft, wherein the cooling water channel includes bearing cooling water channels disposed within a predetermined distance from the thrust bearings to cool the thrust bearings. According to the present invention, the thrust bearings supporting the rotating shaft and the cooling gas accommodated in front air channels adjacent to the bearing cooling water channels may be very rapidly cooled.

摘要: A contra-rotating compressor includes a first shaft assembly disposed in a housing, the first shaft assembly including an outer shaft, and a first plurality of impellers coupled to the outer shaft, wherein the outer shaft includes a final stage that includes a final impeller of the first plurality of impellers, a second shaft assembly disposed in the housing and rotatable about the longitudinal axis, the second shaft assembly including a second plurality of impellers, a first pair of annular seals between the final stage and an inner surface of the housing, the pair of annular seals being configured to permit relative rotation between the final stage and the housing, and a third annular seal positioned between the outer surface of the final stage and an inner surface of the second shaft assembly, the third annular seal configured to permit contra-rotation between the final stage and the second shaft assembly.

摘要: During rotation of a shaft of a downhole-type wellbore system, a first signal corresponding to an axial position of the rotating shaft is transmitted by a sensor. The shaft is axially levitated by a plurality of magnetic thrust bearings. A controller determines an amount of axial force to apply to the rotating shaft to maintain axial levitation of the rotating shaft based on the first signal. The controller transmits a second signal corresponding to the determined amount of axial force to the plurality of magnetic thrust bearings. The plurality of magnetic thrust bearings applies the amount of axial force on the rotating shaft to maintain the axial levitation of the rotating shaft based on the second signal.

摘要: An assembly for use in an aircraft includes a housing having an inlet and an outlet and a flow path for an airflow extends between the inlet and the outlet. The assembly additionally includes a rotatable portion including a rotor mounted within the housing between the inlet and the outlet along the flow path. The rotor has a body including a first side facing the inlet, a second opposite side, and a plurality of impeller blades protruding from the first side. An axial flux electric motor includes a motor rotor having at least one first flux element and a motor stator. The at least one first flux element is integrated into the rotatable portion and the motor stator is remote from the flow path.

摘要: A heating, ventilation, air conditioning, and refrigeration (HVACR) system includes a compressor with a gas bearing supplied with compressed gas and a controller. The controller is configured to determine an inlet pressure and outlet pressure of the gas bearing, determine a maximum speed limit based on the inlet pressure and the outlet pressure, and prevent the compressor from operating at a speed that is greater than the maximum speed limit. A method of controlling a compressor includes calculating a maximum speed limit based on an inlet pressure and an outlet pressure of the gas bearing. The method also includes in response to determining that a speed setting is greater than the maximum speed limit, adjusting operation of the compressor such that a speed of the compressor is at or below the maximum speed limit.

摘要: A compressor includes a drive motor and a wind wheel, wherein the drive motor includes a casing and a rotor, the rotor being rotatably arranged within the casing; the wind wheel is mounted at a first axial end of the rotor. A thrust disc is also provided at the first axial end of the rotor. An axial bearing assembly is arranged between the thrust disc and the wind wheel, and the axial bearing assembly is arranged fixedly with respect to the casing. A first air gap is formed between a first end of the axial bearing assembly and the wind wheel, and a second air gap is formed between a second end of the axial bearing assembly and the thrust disc. The air compressor reduces a tolerance accumulation caused by part cooperation between axial bearing assemblies, and more precisely ensures effective working clearances.

摘要: A heat transfer circuit includes a compressor, a condenser, an expander, and an evaporator that are fluidly connected together. The compressor includes a housing and a shaft rotatable relative to the housing to compress a working fluid received at a suction inlet, in which the shaft is supported by a gas bearing, and the gas bearing including a bearing housing having a fluid inlet and an outlet. A high pressure gas source is fluidly connected to the fluid inlet of the bearing housing for supplying high pressure fluid to the fluid inlet of the gas bearing such that the gas bearing supports the shaft when the shaft is rotating. A pressure reducer is connected to the outlet of the gas bearing is provided for reducing a vent pressure of the gas bearing.

The rotor includes an axial passage, a radial passage, and a connecting rod connecting the first shaft member with the second shaft member and forming a gap serving as a part of the axial passage. The housing includes a discharge port from which the air is discharged to an outside of the housing. The air outside the housing is introduced from the inlet into the motor chamber through the axial passage and the radial passage to cool the magnetic body.
