    Abstract: There is provided an air cleaner configured to be disposed inside a vehicle body frame, the air cleaner including: an air cleaner case in which an intake chamber is formed; an air filter disposed in the intake chamber; an inlet tube configured to take in air to the intake chamber; and an outlet tube configured to send out the air from the intake chamber. The inlet tube extends in a front-rear direction. The inlet tube has a bottom wall curved downward in a side view to form a concave curved portion below a discharge port of the inlet tube. The concave curved portion is formed with a drain hole.

    Abstract: An internal combustion engine monitoring system can include a fluid filter disposed between at least one fluid inlet of the internal combustion engine and at least one of a fluid source or an ambient fluid environment. At least one fluid sensor arranged can be arranged to detect a plurality of indications of respective fluid pressures on first and second sides of the fluid filter at a plurality of corresponding engine operating conditions. The indications can be compared with their corresponding operating conditions to assess a condition of the fluid filter and estimate a lifetime thereof.

    Abstract: A high density mobile power unit may include an elongated unibody frame having a frame cavity, a front end, a rear end, an elongated roof panel, a front panel, a rear panel, an elongated floor assembly having an upper side and a lower side, an elongated first side panel, and an elongated second side panel. An enclosure may be formed by the elongated roof panel, the front panel, the rear panel, the elongated floor assembly, the elongated first side panel, and the elongated second side panel. An under carriage structural lattice arrangement may be coupled to the lower side of the floor assembly from the midpoint and extending towards the front end. The under carriage structural lattice arrangement may include a first elongated lattice and a second elongated lattice, and the first elongated lattice and second elongated lattice may be substantially parallel to each other.

    Abstract: A work machine, such as a skid steer loader or a compact track loader, includes a directional air intake assembly with a directional cap positioned on an intake pipe for selectively drawing ambient air into an internal combustion engine. A cooling vent ejects air heated by a rear-mounted engine upwardly into the atmosphere. Extending higher than and adjacent to the cooling vent, the directional cap has an elongated head that blocks ingress to the intake pipe other than through an opening at a face of the cap. Selectively positioning and angling the opening between a side of the loader and an edge of the cooling vent avoids taking in debris from near the wheels or tracks, avoids taking in heated air from the cooling vent, and takes advantage of negative pressure caused by the updraft from the cooling vent to remove particulates, resulting in cleaner air for the engine at close to ambient temperature.

The excavation work machine comprises an engine room provided on a swivel frame and housing equipment including an engine and a heat exchange unit, a ventilation part provided on a right exterior cover forming a side wall of the engine room and having a plurality of ventilation holes for communicating inside and outside of the engine room, and an air cleaner arranged between the heat exchange unit and the ventilation part in the engine room, and supplying cleaned air to the engine.
