An under carriage structural lattice arrangement may be coupled to the lower side of the floor assembly from the midpoint and extending towards the front end. The under carriage structural lattice arrangement may include a first elongated lattice and a second elongated lattice, and the first elongated lattice and second elongated lattice may be substantially parallel to each other.

摘要: Embodiments are directed to a power system for generating mechanical energy from input electrical energy. The system includes a liquid tank configured to house fluid and communicate with a fluid compressor and an evaporator, a fluid compressor configured to compress the fluid to a higher-pressure state, a fluid pump configured to receive fluid from the condenser and convert kinetic energy from the fluid to mechanical energy, and a suction fan configured to blow air between the evaporator and condenser. The evaporator changes the fluid's state from a liquid to a gas. The condenser changes the fluid's state from a gas to a liquid. The system includes an accumulator tank to hold the fluid from the condenser, a piping network that communicates the fluid between the components, an enclosure that houses the components of the power system, and a power supply that delivers electricity to the fluid compressor and electric components.

摘要: One example provides a method for generating and using electric power in a hybrid power system for an aircraft. The hybrid power system has an engine and a high-voltage DC (HVDC) bus interconnecting a generator-motor system, an AC distribution system, and a DC distribution system. The method comprises operating the engine through a plurality of different operation phases. The method further comprises selectively providing, based on thrust demands of the engine, electric power from the HVDC bus to the generator-motor system to assist the engine in providing thrust. The method further comprises selectively extracting, using the engine driving the generator-motor system with a high-pressure spool (HPS) shaft and/or a low-pressure spool (LPS) shaft of the engine, electric power from the engine. The method further comprises selectively delivering the electric power extracted from the engine to the AC distribution system and/or the DC distribution system.

A lower mount provided with a second spring and a second damper to support the mass block from a bottom of the mass block. 摘要: An electrical machine includes a stator assembly coupled to an engine stator component of a propulsion engine. The stator assembly includes a stator support assembly fixedly attached to the engine stator component and a stator disposed on a supporting surface of the stator support structure. The electrical machine also includes a rotor assembly including a rotor support structure connected to a shaft of the propulsion engine and a rotor attached to the rotor support structure such that the rotor is disposed radially inward of the stator. The rotor exchanges rotational energy with the shaft to operate as either an electrical motor or an electrical generator.

摘要: UAV configurations and battery augmentation for UAV internal combustion engines, and associated systems and methods are disclosed. A representative configuration includes a fuselage, first and second wings coupled to and pivotable relative to the fuselage, and a plurality of lift rotors carried by the fuselage. A representative battery augmentation arrangement includes a DC-powered motor, an electronic speed controller, and a genset subsystem coupled to the electronic speed controller. The genset subsystem can include a battery set, an alternator, and a motor-gen controller having a phase control circuit configurable to rectify multiphase AC output from the alternator to produce rectified DC feed to the DC-powered motor. The motor-gen controller is configurable to draw DC power from the battery set to produce the rectified DC feed.

The housing includes a floor, a roof and a plurality of sidewalls at least one of which is movable relative to the roof and the floor between a first configuration in which the housing has a first width, and a second configuration in which the housing has a second width greater than the first width. The first width is not sufficient for a user to enter the internal volume of the housing for accessing a genset disposed within the housing, and the second width is sufficient for the user to enter the internal volume for accessing the genset. The first width can be the same as the width of an International Organization for Standardization 6346 container.
