Abstract: The invention relates to a filter element for mounting in an air cleaner housing of a vehicle. The filter element comprises a circumferential filtering wall through which air is allowed to enter. The filter element also comprises a first end and an open second end for fluidly connecting the filter element to a turbo. The open second end is located opposite the first end. The circumferential filtering wall extends from the first end towards the open second end. The filter element further comprises a resonator. The entire resonator is encircled by the circumferential filtering wall such that air entering through the circumferential filtering wall passes on the outside of the resonator to and through the open second end.

Abstract: The invention relates to an air filter housing for use in an air cleaning arrangement for cleaning air to be provided to an air inlet of an internal combustion engine. The air filter housing comprises: a filter housing inlet for receiving air; and a filter housing outlet for providing filtered air to the air inlet of the internal combustion engine when an air filter is arranged inside the air filter housing between the filter housing inlet and the filter housing outlet. The air filter housing further comprises a closing arrangement controllable to be in each of a first state in which the filter housing outlet is closed by the closing arrangement, and a second state in which the filter housing outlet is open. The closing arrangement may comprise an iris shutter.

The disposable air filter unit forms a sleeve about a central axis extending axially between a first end surface and a second end surface. The reusable carrier structure includes a receiving member for receiving the first end surface of the air filter unit and a sealing member arranged at the receiving member to contact the first end surface of the air filter unit.
