摘要: Related to is a system for preparing xylose liquid by continuously hydrolyzing hemicellulose, including a neutralizing unit, an acid-adjusting unit, a feeding unit, a liquefaction ejecting unit, a feed and discharge heat-exchanging unit and a discharge controlling unit. The neutralizing unit includes a raw material tank, a neutralizing concentrated sulfuric acid pump and a neutralizing pipeline mixer, the acid-adjusting unit includes an acid-adjusting concentrated sulfuric acid pump, an acid-adjusting pipeline mixer and an acid-adjusting tank, the feeding unit includes a feed tank, the liquefaction ejecting unit includes a liquefaction ejector and a liquefaction maintainer, the feed and discharge heat-exchanging unit includes a plate-type teed and discharge heat exchanger and a first discharge temperature sensor, and the discharge controlling unit includes a discharge valve and a reflux valve. The obtained xylose liquid exchanges heat with the hemicellulose liquid in the plate-type feed and discharge heat exchanger to decrease a temperature of the xylose liquid, whereas a temperature of the hemicellulose liquid is increased. Further disclosed is a method using the system. The simultaneous feed and discharge heat exchanges greatly reduce energy consumption, and feed and exchange are continuously run, thereby improving the production efficiency and simplifying manual operations.

摘要: A method for obtaining a reinforced packaging paper by applying a residual fluid from the pre-treatment of lignocellulose waste with a water-alcohol mix to the packaging paper and the subsequent drying thereof. The residual fluid has a solid fraction in suspension of 1-70% by weight/volume relative to the total, with lignin and lignin-carbohydrate complexes; and a liquid fraction of 30-99% by weight/volume relative to the total, containing between 0.04 and 2.07 g/L glucose, between 0.31 and 14.57 g/L xylose, between 0.09 and 3.46 g/L arabinose, between 0.083 and 12.40 g/L acetic acid, and between 0.004 and 8.73 g/L furfural. The method improves the efficiency of the cellulose pulp residual fluids in the process of reinforcing a packaging paper, and is suitable for all types of raw cardboard or paper.

摘要: The invention relates, in general, to methods of processing Lignocellulosic biomass to fermentable sugars and to methods that rely on hydrothermal pretreatment. Xylose monomer yields comparable to those achieved using two-stage pretreatments can be achieved from soft Lignocellulosic biomass feedstocks by pretreasting to very low severity in a single-stage pressurized hydrothermal pretreatment, followed by enzymatic hydrolysis to release xylose retained in the solid state. In some embodiments, pretreated biomass is separated into a solid fraction and a liquid fraction, the solid fraction subjected to enzymatic hydrolysis, and the separated liquid fraction subsequently mixed with the hydrolysed solid fraction.

摘要: An improved dry grind system and method for producing a sugar stream from grains or similar carbohydrate sources and/or residues, such as for biochemical production. In particular, after saccharification and prior to a sugar conversion process, a sugar/carbohydrate stream is removed from a saccharified stream. The sugar/carbohydrate stream includes a desired Dextrose Equivalent (DE) where DE describes the degree of conversion of starch to dextrose can be produced, with the such sugar stream being available for biochemical production, e.g., alcohol production, or other processes. In addition, the systems and methods also can involve the removal of certain grain components, e.g., corn kernel components, including protein and/or fiber. Sugar stream production occurs on the front end of the system and method.

摘要: Lignocellulosic biomass (11) is processed to produce organic chemicals by (a) subjecting the biomass to a first hydrolysis (14) to hydrolyse hemicellulose, to form a liquid component comprising the products of hemicellulose hydrolysis in solution, and a solid component comprising cellulose and lignin; (b) then subjecting the solid component to a second hydrolysis (20), so as to hydrolyse cellulose and vaporise the resulting products of cellulose hydrolysis; and (c) then condensing (22) the resulting vapours to form an aqueous solution (25) containing the products of cellulose hydrolysis. After the first hydrolysis (14) and before the second hydrolysis (20), the process also comprises subjecting the solid component to a washing step (16). In this washing step (16) the solid component is washed with the aqueous solution (25) that contains the products of cellulose hydrolysis. Hence the resultant solution contains the products of both the first and the second hydrolysis steps (14, 20).

摘要: A method for treating biomass including lignocellulosic polymers. The biomass is treated in a mixture of water with at least one oxidizing agent and steam at a temperature in a range of from about 130° C. to about 220° C. for a period from about 5 seconds to about 10 hours. The pH of the mixture is periodically measured for substantially an entire duration of the treating step. As necessary, based on the measured pH of the mixture, adjusting the pH of the mixture into a range of from about pH 4.5 to about pH 7.5 by adding a base to the mixture.

摘要: The teachings herein relate to a process for drying allulose crystals. The process includes a step of providing non-dried allulose crystals. The process includes temperature treating the crystals at a temperature in the range of about 25 to about 70° C. in a drying apparatus to form an intermediate product. The process includes conditioning the intermediate process. The conditioning may be for about 30 minutes to 7 hours at 40 to 70° C. The conditioning may be for about 15 to about 90 hours with air of a relative humidity of about 30 to about 60% at 25 to about 40° C.
