摘要: Methods of adding a catalyst to a bulk polymerization process may include mixing the catalyst with propylene to form a catalyst mixture that is substantially free of any C20 or greater hydrocarbons, feeding the catalyst mixture into a polymerization reactor, activating the catalyst mixture; and performing a polymerization on the catalyst mixture in the polymerization reactor. Polymers may be formed by polymerization processes that are substantially free of any C20 or greater hydrocarbons.

摘要: Provided are an apparatus and a method for manufacturing high-pressure method low-density polyethylene, the apparatus and the method having excellent characteristics that the amount of smoke generated during processing of a polyethylene to be obtained is small, and the number of fish eyes contained in a film formed from the polyethylene is small. An apparatus for manufacturing high pressure method polyethylene includes: an ethylene supply line that is a line branched from a high pressure recycle ethylene line and connected to a recycle ethylene holding drum for decompressing high pressure recycle ethylene from the high pressure recycle ethylene line and supplying the decompressed recycle ethylene to the recycle ethylene holding drum; and the recycle ethylene holding drum that is a drum for holding the decompressed recycle ethylene through the ethylene supply line.

摘要: A portable, sustainable, and efficient system and apparatus for breaking down processed solid plastic waste and other polymer-based feedstock into fuel oil, sustainable energy, carbon char, and other useful products. With minor modifications, biomass can also be treated. Distributed microwave heating sources and mechanical mixing effectively mix heat in a highly insulated reactor that protects the microwave components, makes fast pyrolysis possible, and thereby enables scaling down to compact and highly portable systems. Products include diesel, gasoline, propane, butane, and char. Product materials are distributed using tight temperature control and mechanical routing.

摘要: The invention provides a built-in micro-interface oxidation system for preparing terephthalic acid from p-xylene. The oxidation system includes a first reactor, a rectifying tower and a second reactor which are sequentially connected. A first outlet is disposed on a side wall of the first reactor; a first inlet is disposed on a side wall of the second reactor; a material inlet is disposed on a side wall of the rectifying tower; and a material outlet is disposed at a bottom of the rectifying tower. The first outlet is connected with the material inlet of the rectifying tower; the first inlet is connected with the material outlet of the rectifying tower. Micro-interface units are arranged in the first reactor and the second reactor for dispersing and crushing air into bubbles. Through disposing micro-interface units in reactors, problems of high energy consumption, high raw material consumption and low reaction efficiency are solved.

摘要: Methods and systems for on-site, continuous generation of peracid chemistry, namely peroxycarboxylic acids and peroxycarboxylic acid forming compositions, are disclosed. In particular, an adjustable biocide formulator or generator system is designed for on-site generation of peroxycarboxylic acids and peroxycarboxylic acid forming compositions from sugar esters. Methods of using the in situ generated peroxycarboxylic acids and peroxycarboxylic acid forming compositions are also disclosed.

The reactor has a heating means in the region having a steadily decreasing hydraulic internal diameter.

摘要: A system for distribution of hydrogen gas in a metal hydride reactor is disclosed. The system comprises a hydrogen distribution conduit positioned within a metal tube so as to define an annular space between the hydrogen distribution conduit and the outer metal tube. The hydrogen distribution conduit provides a flow passage for the hydrogen gas. A metal sponge matrix containing hydrogen-storing metal powder or hydrogen-storing alloy powder is filled in the annular space. The system provides a more uniform distribution of hydrogen across the particles of the hydrogen-storing metal/alloy powder, provides mechanical support to the hydrogen distribution conduit, improves the thermal conductivity of the powdered metal/alloy bed and reduces the size and production cost of the reactor.
