Providing the isolation includes converting a data packet into a serial format for communicating with the host computer. The converted data packet is sent to a router executing on the host computer. The router determines a destination container in the plurality of containers based at least in part on content of the converted data packet and routes the converted data packet to the destination container.

摘要: Techniques are described for providing a distributed application load-balancing architecture that supports multipath transport protocol for client devices connecting to an application service. Rather than having client devices generate new network five-tuples for new subflows to the application servers, the techniques described herein include shifting the burden to the application servers to ensure that the new network five-tuples land in the same bucket in the consistent hashing table. The application servers may receive a hashing function utilized by the load balancers to generate the hash of the network five-tuple. By having the application servers generate the hashes, the load balancers are able to continue stateless, low-level processing of the packets to route them to the correct application servers. In this way, additional subflows can be opened for client devices according to a multipath transport protocol while ensuring that the subflows are routed to the correct application server.

摘要: The present disclosure provides systems and methods which increase the throughput of a TCP-based communication between a first network node and a second network node. First, the first network node sent a first plurality of TCP segments to the second network node. Second, when the second network node receives a second plurality of TCP segments, which is all or part of the first plurality of the TCP segments, the second network node responds by sending one or more TCP acknowledgements to the first network node with the last sequence number of a last segment among all TCP segment within the second plurality of TCP segments. The present disclosure are able to increase the throughput of a TCP connection while decreasing its reliability.

摘要: A redirection of a URL page request may be performed by monitoring an upstream path from a subscriber to the internet through an ISP. When a URL page request is detected from a subscriber for whom a redirection is required, a redirection device generates a single TCP packet response that mimics a response from the intended destination server. The single TCP packet includes a set FIN bit that closes any active session with the destination server to prevent the subscriber from accepting packets from the destination server.

摘要: A communication system performs communication on the basis of a TCP. The communication system includes a transmission-side device and a reception-side device. A route switching time zone is a time zone in which a communication route between the transmission-side device and the reception-side device is switched from a first communication route to a second communication route. When detecting packet missing of a first packet in the route switching time zone, the reception-side device prohibits transmission of a retransmission request related to the first packet to the transmission-side device during a first time from detection of the packet missing. When not receiving the first packet during the first time, the reception-side device transmits a retransmission request related to the first packet to the transmission-side device.

摘要: A first network node is arranged to communicate with a second network node. The first and second network nodes are connected by a first path and a second path. The first path uses a first communications network and the second path uses a second communications network. The first network node has a first mode and a second mode of operation, such that in a first mode traffic between the first and second network nodes is transmitted over the first path and not the second path, and in a second mode traffic between the first and second network nodes is transmitted over the first path and the second path. The network node comprises a mode selector arranged to select the second mode of operation when the demanded amount of traffic between the first and second network nodes exceeds a threshold value for a period of time.

摘要: Methods and apparatus for efficient data transfer within a user space network stack. Unlike prior art monolithic networking stacks, the exemplary networking stack architecture described hereinafter includes various components that span multiple domains (both in-kernel, and non-kernel). For example, unlike traditional “socket” based communication, disclosed embodiments can transfer data directly between the kernel and user space domains. Direct transfer reduces the per-byte and per-packet costs relative to socket based communication. A user space networking stack is disclosed that enables extensible, cross-platform-capable, user space control of the networking protocol stack functionality. The user space networking stack facilitates tighter integration between the protocol layers (including TLS) and the application or daemon. Exemplary systems can support multiple networking protocol stack instances (including an in-kernel traditional network stack).

A proxy server to deliver video content may include a communication module to intercept a request for video content from a mobile device, the request for video content intended for a content server and forward a modified request for the video content to the content server. The communication module may receive the video content from the content server and transfer a portion of the video content to the mobile device using a multipath transport protocol.

摘要: The techniques described herein relate to methods, apparatus, and computer readable media configured to determine a current data transmission sequence number for a next packet in a communication session with a remote computing device. An interruption in the communication session is detected. Checkpointed data for the communication session is determined that is indicative of a previous sequence number used for a previous packet sent to the remote computing device. A resolution procedure is performed to determine the current data transmission sequence number for the next packet in the communication session, including determining an estimated next sequence number for transmitting data in the communication session based on the checkpointed data, transmitting a first packet to the remote computing device, receiving a second packet from the remote computing device that has an associated sequence number, and determining the current sequence number for the next packet in the communication session.
