In one example, an orthodontic appliance case includes a near field communication (NFC) circuitry including a first antenna that is configured to receive data transmitted from a sensor module on an orthodontic appliance when the sensor module is within the orthodontic appliance case. The data may include information regarding when the orthodontic appliance was worn in a patient's mouth. The orthodontic appliance case may also include a data store configured to store the data, and a Bluetooth communication circuitry including a second antenna configured to transmit the data to an external computing device when the external computing device is within communication range of the second antenna.

The display device includes a display panel, a near-field communication coil and a display control circuit, wherein the display panel includes a plurality of display periods, and each display period includes a field blanking phase and an effective display phase, the near-field communication control device includes: a first receiving circuit configured to receive a synchronization signal output from the display control circuit, wherein the display panel displays an image during the effective display phase under the control of the synchronization signal; and a driving circuit configured to output a driving signal to the near-field communication coil during the field blanking phase, according to the synchronization signal.

摘要: A method for a hard reset of a target electronic device includes establishing a near field communications (NFC) channel to the target electronic device, receiving a wireless signal at the target electronic device over the NFC channel, and comparing a signature of the received wireless signal with a predefined characteristic signature of a reset command signal. Responsive to the comparing, the method includes generating a reset signal resetting the target electronic device.

A first antenna, positioned with respect to the structure, is tuned to communicate, while the wearable article is being worn, according to a first wireless communication modality with a first external antenna. A second antenna, positioned with respect to the structure, is tuned to communicate according to a second wireless communication modality with a second external antenna different than the first external antenna, the second communication modality being different than the first communication modality. A transceiver, coupled to at least one of the first antenna and the second antenna, is configured to communicate via one of the first and second antennas based, at least in part, on the one of the first and second antennas coming into wireless communication contact with a corresponding one of the first and second external antennas.

The transmission controller is further configured to derive a coupling factor based on coupling data sent from the wireless receiver system to the wireless transmission system, generate an update frequency based on the derived coupling factor, and transmit the update frequency to the wireless receiver system in the peripheral device, whereby the peripheral device provides coupling data to the wireless transmission system based on the update frequency.

摘要: The invention enables efficient wireless power transfer, and charging of devices and batteries, in a manner that allows freedom of placement of devices or batteries in one or multiple dimensions. Provided is a base unit for wireless power transfer or charging through a time varying magnetic field. The unit typically includes a magnetic material or layer that guides magnetic flux generated by a charger coil as to create a preferential path for returning magnetic flux from a receiver coil in one or multiple dimensions. The receiver may include a magnetic core having a magnetic permeability exceeding 1 with copper Litz wire around a ferrite core. With power receivers proximate to the base unit, the base unit coil may inductively generate a current in receiver coils or receivers associated with the power receivers. Uni-directionally or bi-directionally wireless communication protocols include NFC, Bluetooth, WiFi, and etc. control and optimize power transfer therebetween.

摘要: A method for digital wireless communication through a barrier (6) made of a conductive material, preferably metal, consisting in transmission of an encoded digital information using a transmitter (1), by generation of a static magnetic field with a stepwise variable spatial orientation of the magnetic induction vector on a first side of the barrier (6), then reading a resulting spatial orientation of the magnetic induction vector on a second side of the barrier (6) using an at least one spatial orientation sensor of the magnetic induction vector located in a receiver (3), and subsequently decoding the digital information from the stepwise variable spatial orientation of the magnetic induction vector by means of a reading system (4) connected to the receiver (3). The invention comprises also a system for performing digital wireless communication through a barrier and a system for monitoring the level of fluid content in a metal air-tight container.
