摘要: A system for sensing a proximity of a near field communication (NFC) device includes an NFC reader that communicates with a remote NFC device through load modulation. The NFC reader transmits a wireless carrier signal from an antenna, and the remote NFC device modulates the carrier signal by changing its internal impedance in order to transmit data to the NFC reader. The NFC reader has at least one antenna for receiving the modulated signal. The antenna is coupled to circuitry that analyzes the signal received from the remote NFC device The circuitry then identifies a resonant frequency for the remote NFC device based on the received signal and controls transmission characteristics of the NFC reader for communicating with the remote NFC device based on the identified resonant frequency.

摘要: Various embodiments are directed to a method and system for mapping or visualizing the magnetic fields and their associated field strengths of an object, such as a mobile computing device. An example source of the magnetic fields may be a near-field communication (NFC) reader configured in the object. A computer vision system or device may track a visual marker arranged near or on a magnetic field strength detector in order to associate, match, or map the magnetic field strength measurement readings of the detector at different positions or locations on the object. The computer vision system may generate and display a heat map of the object based on at least the magnetic field strength measurements and their relative positions.

摘要: A system (100) for testing of wireless power equipment in the form of a wireless power transmitter device and a wireless power receiver device is disclosed. The system (100) has a probe device (110) and an analyzer device (130). The probe device (110) has at least one pickup coil (112), the pickup coil being adapted to be placed between a surface of a housing of the wireless power transmitter device and a surface of a housing of the wireless power receiver device to generate electric signals by capturing electromagnetic signals exchanged between the wireless power transmitter and receiver devices pursuant to a wireless power transfer protocol. The probe device (110) also has an interface (114) for providing the electric signals generated by the pickup coil (112) to the analyzer device (130). The analyzer device (130) has an interface (132) for receiving the electric signals from the probe device (110). The analyzer device (130) also has a processing unit (134) coupled to the interface (132) and configured for processing of the received electric signals. The system further includes means (136; 138) for causing manipulation of the electromagnetic signals exchanged between the wireless power transmitter and receiver devices.

摘要: Aspects of this disclosure relate to an array calibration system and method using probes disposed between antenna elements. In certain embodiments, the calibration is performed by measuring near-field relative phase and amplitude measurements of the antenna elements and using such relative measurements to adjust the amplitude and phase of the transceivers connected to the antenna elements. In some embodiments, each antenna element within a set of antenna elements transmits a signal that is received by a single probe, and the received signals are assessed to determine relative phase or amplitude measurements. In some embodiments, a single probe transmits a signal that is received by each antenna element within a set of antenna elements, and the received signals are assessed to determine relative phase and amplitude measurements.
